persephone heart game; (run 1)
In the flicker of a candle-flame, in the stir of still water, in the fluttering of flower petals, there is a voice...
Once, there were...
...shadows in the window.
...footsteps at the gates of life.
...whispering at the door:
"Should I live or die? Am I living or dead?"
"To know the world is to choose it," says the Void.

Re: In The Garden 1 (start)
Though I do not have my abilities here, and I imagine he will, so we will see how successful I am.
[And Nadeko has it out for Emet doesn't help matters.]

[ a beat ] And then spare him absolutely no quarter.
...But do not hesitate to ask me for combat instruction some time, if you would value it. I specialize in the staff and glaive, and with your height, your reach with either would be formidable.
Re: In The Garden 1 (start)
But of course.
I suppose I could go with instruction. 'Tis not that I do not know is that I am unused to not having the magics that go with it, hence it feels unbalanced.
[He's actually not a half bad tank when he wants to be.]
Re: In The Garden 1 (start)
In a situation such as ours, where any charm we are granted to learn may just as easily be taken away, better to build your technique upon a more reliable foundation.
[ a lip quirks, and she swaps back to a more casual affect ]
Of course, if you already know your way around a weapon, I always appreciate a chance to skip ahead to the really fun techniques.
Re: In The Garden 1 (start)
[He nods.]
Staves and swords mostly. I imagine guns are not in your repertoire.
