... I'm not very good at performing. I just wanted to explore a little. Does that count?

[The attendant laughs amicably.]

You can explore all you want! But a performance has to be, well, a performance to count as one.

[They then pause, as if just realizing something, peering closely at the badge Duality wears.]

That's good, I think. I’m not really sure what they are, but if you ask me, something like that must be really precious to someone. You should try taking good care of them, you hear? I’m sure at least one person out there would be grateful for it. Or maybe... that’s what I’d like to hope, anyway.

Yes, anything works - after all, aren't the best performances the ones that come from the heart?

It definitely looks like it's growing.

Really... huh! Maybe I should have our gardener take a look at it later.

[Kind of musing in a "well that's interesting" way.]

So, are you going to try performing something?

Maybe it needs replanting...

[sorry he's focused on the plant now, stepping up to check it out]

[It sure is a gorse plant! And it seems to be slowly growing even now, the pot just barely holding itself together to contain it.]

[he looks back at the attendant]

Was this here all the time?

Not all the time. It's one of our props, so someone must have taken it out for a performance at some point.

Can I remove it?

Sure! If you don't need it, you don't have to keep it on stage!

All right.

[can he just. look around-- ah, there's the door in the wall. can he take it out there?

can he even carry it?]

[It's a pretty heavy pot, so he might need some help - although there's some stagehands coming out from the backstage, nodding towards it like "do you want us to take that away?"]

Ah, yes, sure. Thanks.

[he'll follow them backstage so he can see where it ends up but... hm. he doesn't know what or if he should put on a performance so maybe he should move on?]

[They move it to the back! If he looks at the backstage area, he'll find an incredible amount of props. From instruments to fake drinks to furniture, it's all back there - but of course, they're only props, so there aren't any real tools to be found.

The gorse plant is placed near the entrance of the backstage, if he ever needs to find it again.
