[he's muttering it to himself, but in the meantime he'll put 25ml of red and 50ml of gold into the container for now and stir it together with the rest]

Gold: 50ml
Navy Blue: 100ml
Black: 100ml]

You’re studying hard - sometimes it’s English, or biology, or chemistry. The textbooks before you are weighty, but you know what you’re doing is important, will affect so many people - will save so many people. So, you have to work hard (even though the knowledge seems to click easily enough into your brain as is) so that one day, your studies can bear fruit. [he tugs at the badge to turn it up so he can see. that's progress, right?

looking back at the container, and the book and the description of the mixture, he'll put the spray nozzle onto the container and maybe just. bring it with him! it could be useful for something. right?]

Is he going to try any of the other concoctions or are we moving elsewhere? He can get to the stage or the main hall again from here.]

[There are more! They're just glassware, so he wouldn't be able to spray them. But he could certainly bring capped beakers of the other mixtures with him.]

[okay so gonna go ahead and mix up the poison as well. at least that one's easy and he has enough for it.

and the perfume too, I guess? and cap them both in two beakers.

this is a lot to carry, but thankfully he's got big pockets on his jacket]
