Wednesday's Heart Game » Session Three
At first, there is nothing.
And then there’s a voice, saying:
I need your help.
… look, I don’t have time to explain. Hold this.
And something, ready or not, is thrust into your hand. Maybe it’s a pen, or a brooch, or a watch or a phone, or anything at all so long as it’s small enough to hold, and looks too important to lose.
Maybe you try to object, but a small, winged creature wreathed in iridescent sparkles darts into your view, and clasps your hands, and curls your fingers tight about the object in them.
You’re just, the creature says, going to have to trust me. Now: raise your hand, and say:
Power of a Dreaming Star – Metamorphose!!
Maybe you know these tropes, or maybe you don’t.
Maybe you’re about to protest that no, you couldn’t possibly, this is ridiculous and you’ve got the wrong person—
But you can’t resist the call. Nobody ever can.
And then?
Then? It’s not dark any more.
And an awful lot seems to be happening at once.

[He goes to look out the window.]
If she's in danger, then I'll do anything I can to help her. How do we get the sun to rise?

What else do I need to know?
Is there....extras with the outfit change, or just to look like I belong? [Listen, clothes giving weird powers happens sometimes.]
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
...fly?
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[Listen, he is always for flying, especially if he doesn't have to be a bird or throw himself off a roof to do it.]
Okay, so what's the magic?

So we should get going then.
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[She turns back to the school desk. On it are a number of items: a scanner, an hourglass, a lantern, and two glass bottles on chains - one to help with healing and one to aid with stealth.]
The scanner helps suss out danger. If there's something close by that's gonna try to attack, it'll tell you. It's also good for finding hidden objects, if there are any of those. The hourglass turns back time, just for a little, so if you get into a pinch and you're really stuck, you can go back a few seconds and try again. The lantern will light your way to the active trouble spots. The stuff in this bottle will heal you, if you're hurt. And this one's basically a smoke bomb.
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
....I'm already pretty naturally observant. Would that work well with the scanner, or would it be better to give that to someone else?
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[Hm, then again.]
Maybe the hourglass. I'm good at looking, but this would allow for more strategy...
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[She looks back at the table.]
Ah, your friend just took that. And it looks like the heal's gone, too.
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
Well, looks like it might be the scanner then.
[Will pick that up.]
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[Putting on this scanner.]
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[Can be used once per room. Player must state they are performing a scan. No dice check necessary to succeed.]
Yeah. The light's where the others have already been, but whichever way you go - you'll definitely find something.
Re: ♡ talk to michelle
[And just in case, might as well scan this room!]
[Because that's what you should do if you have a scanner.]
