[He's mostly confused, but there's a hint of indignation, too. God-choosing sounds dumb as fuck to him; it's people who should choose, rationally and carefully. But the more he finds out about the mortal world, the less rational it sounds to him anyway.
Levity stares at the floor for a few moments, frowning, then wordlessly reaches out to take one of Absinthe's hands firmly. He can't really think of what to say - and either way offering his consolations or affront feels a little crude, right now, - so physical contact it is. Absinthe acquires one (1) Somewhat Angy Ancient.]
[Hmmm... gay. Levity's lips purse just a little, like he's momentarily embarrassed.]
I see. I'll... try to think how to approach it, then. I would need her help to... kill Somnus, but I don't want to get her involved in things you have not opened up to her about. But if I go myself, he would just kill me instead... and I am not eager to give him the satisfaction.
[His face darkens a little and there's a slight wince as he raises his other hand to his chest.]
...Not to mention it's not exactly a pleasant thing to die.
[Why is Absinthe always charming.... ascian catnip. Not that Levity minds, though.]
I do trust her. It's simply that... well, I would have wanted to say something to him. But I can live without it. What matters is that he would be gone, yes?
[He's... not actually certain what the purpose of the game is. Other than doing housework, apparently.]
[That's not wrong! It actually gets Levity to smile.]
Indeed. Particularly when it starts destroying your lodgings.
[He finally unfolds himself from the chair, standing up... and then bends down to take Absinthe's face in his hands and press his forehead against his, closing his eyes.]
I'll do my best to help, then. I hope I can find D.Va... and if it works out, we'll come see you again.
[Cute... Ascian catnip. Levity kisses back, fondly - he might regret it later, he might not, but right now he feels pretty damn affectionate towards Absinthe.]
I would offer a keepsake, but I haven't any of my usual things on me. But I'm certain I won't be long.
[Hmmm! Possibly do not like that, but it's not like he can do much about it in the meantime. And he hasn't seen anyone else around, and if torture Absinthe tries to pull something on D.Va, Levity can come be reproachful at him. So it should be fine.]
Anything can be dangerous in excess, remember.
[It's said fondly, but with just a hint of concern. Pls don't do bad things at people?]
I'll be going, then.
[Annnnd I want to go to hell so, Absinthe room time!!! Let's also handwave that he got the chain cutters.]
Re: kidnapping tower 2
I do. He was not nearly as merciful as I.
Re: kidnapping tower 2
Levity wraps his arms around himself in horror, as though trying to hide. Just. Give him a moment?? Why's everything so fucked??]
...and people would still let him lead them? After all that?

Re: kidnapping tower 2
I truly did not wish to trouble you with all this. But .. I suppose it is better you know, in the end.
Re: kidnapping tower 2
I understand why you did not want to speak about it... least of all with me. But I am grateful that you would.
[He falls quiet for a while more again, thumb stroking Absinthe's cheek.]
Does D.Va know about any of this?
Re: kidnapping tower 2
[ he feels between each of Levity's digit idly with his his own, humming. ]
She and I are not particularly close. I do enjoy her company, though.

[ he kisses the back of his knuckles. ]
I would rather you have an ally, even if it cannot be myself.

Re: kidnapping tower 2
You have likely noticed the flowers around, yes? He may be one of the sources.
Re: kidnapping tower 2
There is a room with particularly abundant growth, too. But oats, not those flowers.
Re: kidnapping tower 2
Re: kidnapping tower 2
I see... If I do not find D.Va, I might head there first. With any luck, it's less dangerous than running into Somnus again.
But it's strange, is it not? The flowers are rather beautiful and oat is an important and useful plant... It's peculiar to see them as infesting.

I will try not to become too lonely in your absence.
