[There's time.

Eventually you'll hear the doors to the kitchen lock for a while. But it's not the first time you've been locked in with a dead body, and certainly not the last time you'll be locked in with his, so may as well get used to it]

[The funny thing is, he did manage to avoid that in the Hotel.]

[Just a sleeping Wednesday.]

[All alone.]

[And the time he was all alone when he lost Hunny, never sure if they were okay, if they weren't, if he failed-]

[At some point, he does cry because it's impossible not to. Even as he tells himself it's Nemesis memory, he didn't see Hurricane at the beginning, it can't be him for real, he isn't here right now-]

[But it's still the face of someone important to him and he can only mentally kick himself so hard.]

[It takes a while, before he'll start testing the door.]

You think you'd be used to it by now, but somehow you aren't, no matter how much you try.]




[The door opens, once you finally approach]

[Of course he's not used to it.]

[No one gets used to someone important to them dying.]

[He stops at the door, breath shaking, and he doesn't look back, he doesn't dare to.]

[He pulls out his notebook, and a piece of paper.]

'You save Hurricane by being in his life.

He loves you and you give him a light so he can keep going despite all the terrible stuff that happens.

Just trying to be there does enough so he can step forward, at least.'

[He leaves it in the room and exits out the door.]
