Re: Sirius*
You came here to kill those1, didn't you?
[1 - Gorse is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae. It is closely related to the brooms, and like them, has green stems and very small leaves and is adapted to dry growing conditions. However it differs in its extreme thorniness, the shoots being modified into branched thorns 1–4 centimetres (0.4–1.6 in) long, which almost wholly replace the leaves as the plant's functioning photosynthetic organs. The leaves of young plants are trifoliate, but in mature plants they are reduced to scales or small spines. All the species have yellow flowers, generally showy, some with a very long flowering season.
… And what a hardy little thing it is. Blooming eternally, nestled cheerful above its spines, ever vivacious.
As for you—there is something or someone which binds you, but if you wish to break free you will have to confront the fact that you are entangled with your enemy. Then it simply stands to reason that you be the same—hold steadfast and pierce each binding, and freely embrace all yearning as your heart desires. ]
Re: Sirius*
I did. I was worried I'd need to argue with you about it first.
[ Turns to head over to the plants now, reaching up for the nearest pot ]
Do you know where they came from?
Re: Sirius*
I1 don't think that it's a very good idea -
Mm, but I've already won, too - so maybe that's okay. If you do, could you do something for me, too?

Re: Sirius*
First—what is it you've won?
Re: Sirius*
Do you know a lot about motorcycles?

Re: Sirius*
In things like that, when there's a part that breaks or fails to work, it should be taken out, shouldn't it? After that it can be replaced, or it might work better regardless - ... Just like that, if only that nuisance were removed, then everything would work properly from now on, wouldn’t it?
So, like that - the next time that you see 'me' in this place, make sure that you kill it, okay?
Re: Sirius*
Re: Sirius*
But if only those parts that considered you the same remained, don't you think that would be better?

Re: Sirius*
Hmm. Well -
Why don't you come back later? If you go through that door, then you can go back outside, and you can go in the tower from there...
After you've seen everything else, you'll understand, won't you?
Re: Sirius*
[ With that, he hurls the pot he's been holding to the floor to smash it ]
Re: Sirius*
it shatters on impact; freed from the pot the roots of the gorse shrivel and wither away, the shrub disappearing in motes of iridescent light. ]
Re: Sirius*
Do you have any more of these in here?
Re: Sirius*
Ah ... That really isn't something that you should be doing, you know...?
[ not that she's equipped to do anything to stop him, it would seem.
there are others all along the window. ]
Re: Sirius*
[ He's going to smash all of them as long as he can get away with it ]
Re: Sirius*
gorse: deleted
she looks mildly distressed, but he can in fact get away with it. smash every pot. ]
Re: Sirius*
kind of
He doesn't look very pleased about her distress at least ]
... Do you have a broom? I'll clean this up before I leave.
[ Helping: nailed it ]
Re: Sirius*
more .... chill, with them destroyed, her expression softened in a way he'd be more familiar with ]
... Mn, it's okay. I'll clean it up ...
Even if I want you to stay and talk, you have a lot to do, don't you?
Re: Sirius*
Re: Sirius*
... Mm. Alright.
Re: Sirius*
[ Turns to go back the way he came ]
