If prosperity's our highest stat, though, we're gong to lose sustainability. Is that okay?

What happens if we have two stats equal as the highest stat? Do we know that?

Aha. Well, we'll have automatic losses in readiness, and it reduces a lot of problems for us, so perhaps we should allocate slightly more of our points to readiness.

Are we okay with not paying taxes?

Given the state of things it's a little unreasonable that we should have to pay taxes to this degree. Especially since we're not seeing any benefits of a tax-supported society.

And we have the events to think about too. For the second one... I want to take action. Nothing will be accomplished doing nothing. The first one though is a bit more difficult.

We have to relieve the suffering of the poor under our care, to be sure. We can start with that, and perhaps we can capture some additional ships to affect further change.

That's true... if we take action to relieve our own suffering early on we might be able to take those supplies and possibly even additional ships which could help with the second issue at large.

Mm, we need to be able to have the resources and tools available to help others first. We can't take care of the rest of the galaxy when our own are still suffering.

You're exactly right. I'd like to make sure whatever we take we do so peacefully. Killing anyone shouldn't be necessary as long as we can keep them subdued long enough to get what we need.

If we're going to go the space pirate route, I want to make sure we target people who can afford to lose it.

I agree. Go after those who have the most, who can afford to lose it without suffering too terribly for it.

Mm. We should do some research first, see if we can't target some asshole who really has it coming.
