[ Attackers and attack targets are whisked off in pairs to their own part of the restaurant, just the two of them. Two enter, but only one may leave! ]
[Definitely not the kind he was expecting. But then again, nothing so far has been what he expected.]
[He starts to change, himself - arms and legs both lengthening, limbs twisting backward to bend in ways that human limbs shouldn't bend. His back arches gracefully, and his neck grows longer, and the hard carapace that covers his body becomes dotted with small thorns, each approximately hand length.]
[The horn from the forehead doesn't seem nearly so small, by comparison.]
[Not so hot on agility over here, either, tbh, and those lasers burn when they hit. As he charges in though, he hooks the horn up under the table to try and flip it in the air and obscure her line of sight, closing the rest of the distance.]
[If he can get near enough, he's going to try and hook the horn down at the bottom of the bell shape of her form and upend her so he has a better shot at the (hopefully) more vulnerable inside.]
[ it’s not a bad strategy - the barrage stops briefly when he flings the table up, and his horn does start to lift the sheet metal - it seems like it’s more flexible than that, though, so rather than tip her over it just sort of peeps under the skirt ...
[The good thing about having very hard hooves with barbs near them is that things near the floor have a high probability of getting stomped. Sorry, hope those arms aren't fragile.]
[The not-really-a-horse makes a sharp, high-pitched inhuman sound and rears up on its hind legs. The snake's mouth manages to find a spot not covered in spines - sinks into a shoulder - but those hooves are relentless. They rain down blows, aiming to dislodge the mouth by force.]
[ well, it retreats back under the skirt, trailing oil, but of course that means now that it's hidden and she is free to shoot more lasers. Un... unfortunate. ]
[There is not a whole lot here at close range to block them with, either. They burn away skin and the flesh underneath - but small favors, at least they cauterize so fast there's no blood loss? The shoulder's handling that all on its own.]
[He starts to buck and rear - braces and kicks with his back legs, trying to just straight up shove her over.]
[He is definitely slowing down - bleeding from the bloody clawmarks left by the grasping robot arms and the robot snake fangs - but there are a LOT of sharp bits, and he is trying to make sure every single one of them gets some action.]
[ she's not doing too hot herself, voice wavering in her song, upper torso being dragged around by many sparking and leaking arms, just biting and biting and biting ]
[ Then the viewers at home get to watch the extremely dignified metal opera singer try to right herself when her legs are actually a robot centipede under a big hoop skirt.
[Then he gathers up the last of his strength and lashes out one last time, kicking with the razor edge of his hooves at anything that's still left in range.]
[Yep. That labored breathing grows steadily slower and and shallower.]
[The creature's struggles come to a close as the blood pooling underneath it spreads. The muscles in the hind legs bunch again, as though he's going to try to stand one last time - but instead, the chest rises, and falls, and then doesn't rise again.]

honestly it's like a discretion shot because she just sweeps her skirts over the body and That is That. ]
