Heart Soldier Senshi

[ The elevator opens up to a room spacious enough to house the whole unit comfortably, but with no furniture to speak of except a touchscreen podium near the far wall, displaying a row of four larger-than-life mahjong tiles on a red background. On the left side of the screen is a square that says TRADE. The walls and floor of the room are nearly checkered with metal panels, out of place against the rest of the marble flooring and unremarkable off-white walls.

The elevator doors close behind you. ]

[He nodded, albeit shakily. He's keeping his head down so the blood doesn't drain into his stomach, but he's definitely alive.

Despite the enormous pain, he still manages to glance up at Hiryuu as though to ask if she was all right.]

[ She's never sleeping in their dorm with all its gizmos and gadgets EVER AGAIN, and also WITH A KNIFE UNDER HER PILLOW, but you know. for having a head wound. it could probably be worse? somehow? ]

[ Her head feels like it's on fire, but also throbbing, and she's kind of light-headed. How much blood can she lose before she passes out or dies? [He shakes his head resolutely - this was not the time to be worrying about him. They'd have to be carrying the decision on their backs this round, because he couldn't.

Meeting her gaze, the spark of determination was still hot in his eyes, even without the words to reassure her. He brings a hand up to cradle her face - the side that wasn't bleeding - trying to tell her things would be okay.]

[ YOU ARE LUCKY THAT SHE DOESN'T HAVE THE BUDDY BOND AND HAS NO CLUE HE'S THINKING SUCH THOUGHTS. 'FINE WITHOUT HIM?' she'd be mad as hell.

She sniffs. there's SOMETHING IN HER EYE, blood maybe. (no, it's tears, but shhhhhh she's not gonna cry!! --more. not going to cry anymore. ) She nods her head. ]

Hurricane has medicine, but I think...

We'll make a deal with SensitIV right away, okay? It's going to be okay.

[Okay. Okay, Spidey has Wire covered. The only other fabric he has on him is that white glove from the first game, so he's going to fumble it out of his pocket and hand it over.]

[Wait. WAIT, he has something for this. Going to fumble out the bottle of aspirin he got for his arm and wrench it open with shaking hands, handing over some pills.]

[ she's never seen medicine like this before but you know what, fine, sure, she'll take them. with shaky bloody fingers she takes a few of the pills and pops them in her mouth. PLEASE TELL HER TO SWALLOW THEM or she might just wait for them to dissolve. ]

[ YEAH UM here he's shoving his hoodie at you. the nice hoodie he bought after the first game. ]

Here! I think - I mean, it's all I can think of -

It's undignified, but stuffing the fabric in his wildly bleeding mouth is helping it clot. Wire gives Spidey's hand a quick squeeze by way of saying thanks.]

[ Whatever works man. He did just tear off the sleeve so he can give the rest to Hiryuu. ]

Just hang on, okay? We'll take it from here.

[He nods. Soldier-like determination is still burning in his eyes as he looks at Spidey, then over at the other two kids. It's all on you guys now.]

[ Spidey swallows at that nodding his head. ]

We're still playing like we said before? Don't hurt anyone?

[It takes him a second to figure out how to say what he wanted to say. In the end, he writes out a message on the floor in his own blood:]

[Wire nods, the worst of the shock fading, even if he was still in pain. Just as a soldier would, he's staying remarkably calm - but the tiles are the last thing on his mind right now.

Hurricane's hand gets a squeeze, and and his eyes seem to tell him it's all in their hands now.]

[Squeezing back. Why is this the actual worst?]

Is it still bleeding? Should we like - can you apply pressure?

[Spidey's hoodie was helping with keeping the pressure on. He could handle it - but he couldn't do this and pick their next tiles at the same time.

It'll be fine. He could take it. Pointing to the tiles, it tried to direct Hurricane's focus to the task at hand.]

...yeah. Yeah, we got this.
