The walls and floor of the room are nearly checkered with metal panels, out of place against the rest of the marble flooring and unremarkable off-white walls.

[He isn't heading in until he confirms that other teams are showing up, and that it's not going to be a full-on boycott, the way Wire had suggested. Consequentially, he's a couple of minutes late. Just going to start scanning the instructions, getting paler and paler as he gets caught up.]

.... Whatever the outcome, we need to be prepared to not take it personally. The rules are set up such that those who wish to defend themselves from attack must play their worst chips.

So. We lucked out on only having one tile that will completely fuck someone up. That means we have to trust the other teams won't use theirs if they've got the choice.

We've got no control over what they're sending our way. But we can choose the message we want to send. It might make us look like easy targets for the future... but would you live with yourselves knowin' you did the opposite?

You set the tone with the first game. People don't want to see others hurt right now. But the first unit to draw blood shatters that peace...

But we still need to decide which unit to send our 'attacks' to.

If it was sensitIV, they could take it. But I'm sure they're aware they're easy targets because of their abilities.

So who are we mildly inconveniencing instead?

In any case, I am prepared to deal with that consequence. If the other stones are like ours, then the majority of the effects will be nuisances at worst.

[ And if it's worse than that... well. It's still worth it. ]

The host at that first game said there might be worse coming, so I got that henshin power, just in case. Worse comes to worst, I'll transform and deal with it, then change back and the damage won't carry over.
