You find yourself in a room like this.

It's a simple theater room with a giant colorful couch for everyone to sit or lie on if they so choose, and on the screen, you'll find a screen with twenty clones of a single, sexy assistant holding boxes, each box being labelled 01-20.

Also by sexy, I mean she's wearing stained sweatpants, crocs that are like 10 years old, and then this shirt. She looks grumpy and put-out, almost like she doesn't wanna be here.

There's also a remote that has the numbers 01-20 for you to press, and also buttons "DEAL" and "NO DEAL".

Oh yeah, and popcorn and soda!

I have never liked the idea of simply leaving things to fate, but in an instance like this, we really have no choice but to do just that.

That kinda stuff-- it's better to figure out beforehand, before it blindsides you. A lot of us have agreements with people we love, since... well, it's getting impossible to protect everyone that matters to the unit.

With BARiTONES, they told me that they do not target us, because of an alliance? So I believe it is only right that we not target them in turn. So that is natural.

But if I have to pick between who to prioritize outside of an alliance, I am at a loss. I think I would simply alternate between sensitIV and Taisho. Or try to spare whichever unit has been getting hit more often.

Okay. That's about as fair as this kinda thing can be. Still, you should talk over that kind of resolution with them - so it's not a surprise if it has to happen.

I am sure that you have your own priorities too, however? With your gather being upon Taisho.

Dad and I already have an agreement. He's perfectly fine if I don't protect him. And I told him I couldn't put him over everyone else's people.

My other father's on ZRAEL, along with my sister. And they're our allies too, so - when it comes to numbers, I'd put them first.

But I don't want future is now to die. If... if I have to target them, I will. But not with death.

He's more than just a boyfriend. But yeah.

Neither of us would rather sacrifice a kid just to save ourselves, so I don't insist on putting him ahead of anyone else. But I do want to protect him, if I can.

That's only natural. I feel the same way about my senpai, after all. I have also come to consider some of the members of AlcheME as friends, so... being put in this situation is difficult. And it seems that here on Avante, our feelings for others are spread out between a good number of units.
