[You wake alone with your unit in what appears to be a dressing room. There's nothing on the costume racks right now, but you have vanity seats and a couch to chill on if you like.

On a table in the center of the room, there is an ornate metal box with three slots on top. The slots are labeled with the names of three other units: LiliS, Heart Soldier Senshi, & AlcheME!. Next to the box a laminated copy of the IC rules is taped down, and beside it lie four cards:

♦ a green card with a picture of two linked rings and the word "WED"
♦ a blue card with a picture of a rose and the word "BED"
♦ a red card with a picture of a guillotine and the word "BEHEAD"
♦ a purple card with a picture of two circling arrows and the word "INSTEAD"

I haven't been here long enough to get a feeling for the playing style of other units.

From everything I have heard, Heart tends to be the sacrificial sort, doesn't it?

Yeah, for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if they used their Instead to protect us.

Is using it on us wise? Out of the units here, we are the most likely to be protected, are we not?

What is your opinion on our own 'instead'? Should we simply leave it be?

I think, the fact that we're safest means we should use it. It's likely that even if we took the heat from someone else, we still wouldn't end up with the lowest point count.

...Probably Lilis. But that means we're guaranteed with a behead.

Depends on whether your worst possible is 'getting hurt' or 'getting killed', I guess.

This is helpful, actually. Nemesis isn't usually vocal about what she actually wants.

I'm glad this gives her the chance to be. I feel it may be difficult to say how you feel when there are some here who simply don't care.

I am not here to battle you! And I think you know I am not a princess. I simply don't want to have my own opinions vetoed game after game after game based on your invisible scale of what constitutes being allowed an opinion at all. Isn't that what you were so upset about in the past?

Not being put ahead of anyone else? As a team, I thought that was something important to you as well, but it seems that it only applies to you and you only. Because you simply don't care how I feel on the matter even a little.

They won't be. Get used to it, because that's how this place works. Half the time you can't even do anything about it, just scrape them up when it's over.
