WED BED BEHEAD: avante en garde

[You wake alone with your unit in what appears to be a dressing room. There's nothing on the costume racks right now, but you have vanity seats and a couch to chill on if you like.

On a table in the center of the room, there is an ornate metal box with three slots on top. The slots are labeled with the names of three other units: LiliS, Heart Soldier Senshi, & AlcheME!. Next to the box a laminated copy of the IC rules is taped down, and beside it lie four cards:

♦ a green card with a picture of two linked rings and the word "WED"
♦ a blue card with a picture of a rose and the word "BED"
♦ a red card with a picture of a guillotine and the word "BEHEAD"
♦ a purple card with a picture of two circling arrows and the word "INSTEAD"

I feel like if there's a reason to do that, it's to try and get someone to having three "wed" votes—so basically, send ours right back to us, so that we can heal a unit.

Yeah... You don't think they'd think it's a gamble that we'd pick 'em? Saving more people rather'n fewer seems like it'd work with the hero schtick.

...hm. I think—Kohime and Aster seem pretty secure in their relationship, so—I think it'd be reasonable for Aster to have faith in Kohime wanting to protect Heart Soldier on her behalf.

Wanting to do something ain't the same as being able to do something.

...More importantly, if they feel like they gotta protect Lilis or Alcheme, that leaves them in a different place than if they're voting for us and taking our worst card.

Mm... Nero suggested that they might try and swap their best card with the worst card of the unit they send "Behead" to, as an alternative...

I mean, that's a good idea. Safer than actually voting wed, for sure--so long as your best card is good.

...I say we give them our worst one, and then Instead it back. For the other two votes...if Lilis is more likely to try to steal from us, then wed alcheme. Otherwise, the opposite. That should more or less work out for most people, shouldn't it?

So in that case... we'd probably get something like six points total, and they'd almost certainly get a "Wed" card from us?

Ugh. That's true. It might just be easier to try a straightforward play.

Trying to do strategy without the idea of the other forces' numbers or status is terrible.
