[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color. Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of hospital uniforms fitted exactly to your size.

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

Ah, I guess I've heard of the concept but don't really watch that kind of show, I think...?

Hmm, it's probably safe to assume a lot of people here aren't terribly familiar with it, too.

I do, and the tall man with spectacles also has been here before, but -- once we've all got our bearings, we should sit down and make sure we're all about on the same page, at some point.

Oh, that's true. We should begin planning strategy and projects immediately, based on the stipulations for achieving the prize, here.

Oh no, I wasn't as 'fortunate' as to be someone on the more permanent roster. Unless you mean to say being here twice counts as 'regular'. It's more that this isn't the first time they've brought in 'guest units' to spice up their show.

Was it the same scenario? Fight to live again?

Oh, we weren't immediately given an incentive to do our best. Though I'm sure for at least a few people, a reprieve from the rest of hell was incentive enough to go along with it. The last time, we were brought in for a specific game.

We didn't know about any specifics or the rules of it until it actually happened. If a unit did terribly enough and met a certain loss condition, every member of the unit became indebted to the production. Indentured servitude, to be blunt about it.

... Fortunately, no unit lost in such a way. Perhaps that's why they decided to increase the stakes this time.
