[As if by a supernatural force, the lights in the area wink out leaving only pale, dim lightening to illuminate the area. Black and purple smoke billows from the ground below covering the entire arena and blocking Nine-Nine from view.
A cacophony of cracking and squelching sounds filter through the thick smoke as bones readjust, organs realign, and wings are born. With a deafening roar the fog subsides.]
[ Just turns his head to the side, having absolutely no intention to fight... except that now that he's under attack, spikes start to burst from his body and he starts to bowl over onto all fours, even as he grits his fangs and shakes his head wildly, trying to resist the change. ]
[ Unfortunately, as much as Sunshine tries to resist he can't stop his skin from thickening or the flames that race down his back as his monster form overtakes him... he can get bit in the side in the process though. Going to roar in pain and jerk back. ]
[The teeth attempt to rip out a chunk of his side as he jerks back. Flames burn the edge of the snake jaw as it hisses in pain.
Seems like grabbing the hellbeast near the back is not going to win him any favors, so he attempts for the tried and true method of wrapping fingers around the hellbeast's neck and squeezing.]
[ Despite his roaring and flailing in agony, it seems like Sunshine isn't quite fighting back....
Until that hold gets too tight. He can't breathe. He can't breathe. He needs air. He needs to get out of here. Only he can't get free. He can't get free and he's going to die. He's going to die. He's going to die. He's going to...
Suddenly his eyes darken and snap to 99. In the same instant, he roars even louder and slams the claws of both front legs into 99's chest and rips down with all his might, catching hold of that snake appendage as he reaches it. ]
[Buckles back half a step at the slam. In retaliation, he pushes his weight forward attempting to dig the claws of his wings into the beast's front shoulders to hold them in place. The hands around his throat relax a little only because he's leaning in to bite a chunk out of his neck with his massive, horned head and rows of teeth.
Nemesis always told him he probably shouldn't take damage to give damage. But hey, being berserk he doesn't think of that. The pushing of his weight forward allows Sunshine to dig even deeper tracks on his chest and blood to ooze out. He also easily gets a hold of that unfortunately placed snake appendage.]
[The headbutt saves him from the bite to the throat, but he just squeezes harder by reflex. Digging in claws where he can.
The appendage is ripped from his body leaving red and black ichor splaying the floor as it goes limp in his hand. He roars in outrage using his full weight to slam his opponent into the ground.]
[ You forgot the fact that you're slamming against SPIKES. Also that spiked tail is whipping around to bash him in the face, as Sunshine kicks up with his good leg ]
[Spikes on fire. At least the wounds are somewhat cauterized, right?
This seemed to be part of a plan except when there is a brief second when everything goes still from the monster. That would be BE=DE's heart dying.
Any sanity he had left, any planned thoughts go out the window as he bites, claws, and scrapes with all limbs available. Going for the softer spots like his belly, his throat, his injured leg. Anything that he can tear of and eat.]
[ Well, needless to say, Sunshine is getting VERY FUCKED UP but he's also meeting those attack with his own vicious snaps at anything within range, all while rending with those terrible claws and swiping whatever he can with that spiked tail. But with so much blood loss at this point, those attacks are getting increasingly weaker... ]
[He's just going to bite into him again and again then taking chunks of flesh when he can and filling that ravenous hunger in his belly. Spiky bits, on fire parts, he's really not picky about any of that.
That's leave him with scars across his face and that spiked tail doing a number on his wing cracking bones.
But all that matters to him is feasting on this living being.]
[ One can only fight so long when they're missing large chunks of flesh so that lashing tail is eventually going to fall to the side and the tearing and snapping will still... ]
