At the center of your "room" is what looks to be a marble table, but upon further inspection you'll note that the surface is actually electronic, a touch screen that mimics the visual texture of marble. Here, you have a number of options of things to choose from, and you can even pull up a keyboard or write with your finger for a certain freeform answer section. ]

At least this way we can catch him out in his lie that he tried to follow through on his promise earlier, if he refuses to support us.

Either he followed through before and he was telling the truth about showing up in some empty room, in which case he should be fine with backing us up now... or he was lying because he didn't care about us getting killed, and he'll let us fall flat on our faces.

If he does the second one, we know for sure.
