Murder Mysterium - Night 3, Conservatory

[ SENSITIV and NECROMANTIC enter.

Outside the domed glass of the conservatory, night has fallen. The sky here is dark, clouded over with clouds so low as to feel claustrophobic-- the sort of weather and sort of place where a conservatory to retreat to would be welcome, to feel some sort of warmth that the sky stubbornly refuses to provide. Efforts have been made to make the place seem as bright and airy as possible, despite this: the sunburst pattern in the metal framework, the greening copper giving the place some brightness where wrought iron would make the place feel like a cage. Green and gold tiles circle an artificial pond, encircled themselves by shelves, lined with pots, overflowing with devil's ivy. Citrus perfumes the air. A small tea-table has been set up, with chairs for two or three to retreat to.

Beyond the usual decor of the room, several bladed weapons are embedded in the floors and walls—easily within access for anyone who wants to pull the weapons out and fight.

sensitIV will find the weapons heavier to use, however, regardless of their proficiency in them. Everyone in the room knows this: before the dawn comes, sensitIV will die. Even if it is not directly by necROMANTIC's hand, sensitIV lost the moment they entered. ]

I could, but since our fate is inevitable, it seems like a waste of energy to fall into hysterics over it.

We were supposed to pick firearms because everyone else was picking knives but apparently whoever gave our answer didn't get the memo.

Don't give me that. If we'd picked it, you'd be the one dying. That's totally not any better?

I mean, it seems better than you guys dying simply because no weapons.

Was 10IV bringing firearms, too?

One guy was complaining about us doing every night unarmed, so probably? It's not like I can see their room.

Well, apparently they didn't arm up either if necROMANTIC's the ones killing us. Hopefully that means they're safely somewhere else?

It's not like it's super important for us to win this, either.

And what part of bringing a gun to a knife-fight is fair? Didn't you read the rules? You'd lose automatically.
