Murder Mysterium - Night 4, Billiards Room
[ BAD END=DEAD END and necROMANTIC enter.
Lingering smoke hangs heavy in the air of the billiards room. The eponymous table stands square in the center of the room, making the place’s purpose clear. The forest green walls on either side are lined with racks, holding pool cues set horizontal like rifles ready to be taken on the hunt. A fire crackles in the hearth, the grate that sections it from the room patterned with organically erratic bronze branches, badly in need of polish on account of soot. On the mantle a leather cigar case sits closed, a box of matches waiting to be lit ablaze perches expectantly atop of it.
There isn't anything different beyond the usual decor of the room. However, the longer everyone stays, the more keenly aware they become of the quiet but steady tick-tick-tick in the background. There isn't a clock that makes that noise in sight . . . what could it be?
Oh, you both know what's going on. There's no question about it.
You'll have to pick out a different room to make sure this ends up being sent somewhere. If you fail to choose a different room, you'll be blown up. ]

...strictly speaking, if there are all these billiards rooms, surely at least two out of the three will have two units in them...

...so, I suppose, opportunity to fail.

We should have just gone ahead with doing this the normal way! [ at least then he could have chosen blades B< ]

Do you remember if any other units mentioned going to the lounge or the conservatory, young man?
no subject
No, I don't remember... ma'am...?

...well, maybe Serenity wouldn't. But.

I don't really like this at all. I don't really like praying for this kind of thing, either.
[ that's not a no, though. ]

Is that what everyone else is going to think...? [ because surely everyone else was ALSO given this decision to make ]
Your logic sounds right.... ... and if everyone else follows your logic then a lot of people are going to die tonight aren't they?
[ ooc note: by now i know this isnt how this works but since my decision was based on previous ooc misinterpretations that's what kousuke is going to think at this point ]

There's plenty of times I haven't been able to protect people I would liked to have, after all.

..... since we're in this situation together, I guess I can tell you; I'm only considering playing this way to make it up to sensitIV for wrongly killing them the last round. They wanted to protect Tenshi, so that's what I'm going to do. It's about the only thing I can do that sits right with me now.
no subject
Well, in that case—I understand. Truth be told, my unit doesn't really like games that try and execute others, so we didn't vote for anyone, last round.
If this helps fulfill your obligations, we have one unit we're sworn to protect, as both we and LiliS have a combination of bad luck and fickle other friends when it comes to games like this. If we can ensure both we and they survive, then...
no subject
.... if we throw the bomb, then we can protect both Tenshi and Lilis. Right?
no subject
Would you like to try, then?
no subject
You're sure it will end the game?

JUST BEFORE DAWN
The mansion shakes—completely creaks—and then.
The door unlocks. You're free to go.
. . . But you should go quickly. Something's happening. ]
