Murder Mysterium - Game End, Part 1

Who: You!
Where: The Game Tower
When: Day 365, Morning

[ Surely, this time, it must be over. This time, this time, it must be over.

The remaining structures still standing collapse, crumbling into the rest of the demolished mansion. You notice, too—the flowers begin to stretch at every entrance to the garden mazes, vines and leaves and branches and thorns sealing them away from you, completely removing access. Some people may be stumbling out of the gardens now, but it's evident that if they aren't here with you now, they must have been kicked out of the game.

The space in front of the mansion—just in front of the doors—splits open, the space suddenly seeming two-dimensional as the space folds for a door. The door, actually—the door to the elevator that leads you home.

It's not open for business yet. Before you run off, away from this place forever—

You'll want to gather around the fountain.

Its water's stopped, though rather than any stillness in water you can instead see the water drain away, revealing a set of stairs as well as . . . every unit in the Graveyard. Ah, there they are.

Not all of them are intact—while LiliS, sensitIV, future is now, and AlcheME! are completely uninjured (barring any injuries they accrued on their personal time and/or while in the PvP pit), avante en garde and YOU-kai are injured, and sea.Di . . .

. . . well, those sure are some chunks, huh. . . ]

  • Voting/Detective win stats: Detective win determined by % of correct votes from votes casted.

  • Protection/Healing with Serial Killer actions:
    • BAD END=DEAD END was given this prompt to complete their secondary location action. Since necROMANTIC shared their room, they got to decide it together.
    • The original plan from game conception was that only other rooms would be shown (so Billboards Room wouldn't have been an option). However, especially with consideration to the Plan(TM) that PCs were attempting, I included the options for other Billiards Rooms so that I could also include a devil's deal to tempt PCs (because we're demons here, come on, you know I had to do it to 'em)
    • The reward was initially going to be the reward for committing the Serial Killer act. However, with consideration to the whole temptation, it felt more appropriate to me that this would sweeten the pot if units that took this action would definitely secure a win for themselves (as opposed to requiring surviving the voting phase). Especially with consideration to how voting was going (100% correct execution rate, except for when sensitIV went rogue on everyone and implicated sea.Di instead), I decided this would not be a good enough deal if people did not get a secure win from it.
    • It should be noted that the deal was worded in such a way that IC and OOC people would assume that other units/rooms got the same deal. (Also, if this had happened to more than one unit, it would have. ;) )
    • If any unit/room took the deal, then the game would end (since there would be 6 or so units left alive), so the mansion was destroyed so that people could not see what rooms were still intact in the menu (and therefore could not figure out which units renegaded). Also because it's deeply satisfying.
    • Basically: I decided to be kind so BAD END=DEAD END and necROMANTIC got to effectively protect one unit and heal another unit each. Protecting = for tossing the bomb in the first place, healing = for escaping the vote.

  • Protection, Healing, & Revivals:
    • Every unit that got the Victim win was completely protect from the death. Additionally, LiliS was protected by BAD END=DEAD END.
    • Every unit that was listed as winning a fight in the optional PvP got a heal. (This was basically just YOU-kai.)
    • avante en garde and YOU-kai got healing for BAD END=DEAD END and necROMANTIC's Serial Killer win.
    • Because YOU-kai was both healed by necROMANTIC and healed by their own efforts, they got to have a more advanced healing than avante en garde and sea.Di.
    • sea.Di did not win a thread and was not protected, and so they did not get any revivals.
    • However, because of their performance (using explosives every Night), and with consideration to rng cards screwing them over, they were given a revival as an additional reward for making second place.

  • Guest Star rankings:
    • necROMANTIC got first place for, obviously, getting the highest number of kills (3! wowee!).
    • Rankings after 1st place were determined subjectively. The order was basically audience (my) choice.
    • Game Winnings originally rank at 1000, 800, 500, and 100 points. However, as with all big trauma games, units got extra points for performance: 8000, 4000, 2000, and 1000 respectively.
    • neCROMANTIC "protected" 10IV, and 10IV also didn't do a murder. So as to not "waste" the protection, the the narrative is that 10IV would have gotten 100 points for a "lackluster performance" (furi: not murdering anyone in the Night cycle), but necROMANTIC's "protection" was converted into the points bonus.
