Fanmail the Thirty-Sixth
[ Fanmail will be found in big boxes full of letters in the lobby, to be easily found by anyone who's walking by if the box isn't pulled quick enough rows and rows of potted bamboo trees—there are enough pots for every idol, and each stalk is at least person-sized, though some are taller depending on the idol's height. Each bamboo tree has a number of paper strips already tied to them, or otherwise envelopes tied to the base with red ribbons. Some strips are blank, and some strips are regular pieces of fanmail (or letters from some friends!). Some strips are wishes from fans, anything from the innocuous "I wish Thing #2 would have a nice day" to the, less innocuous. Creepy. Shippy. Angry. Everything in-between. There are smaller boxes too, for whatever presents people might be getting from fanmail.
Some letters have QR codes, with instructions to scan them with your cell phone's free QR code scanner function. Beyond the letters that are submitted below, you may assume there are more letters in every box if you'd like.
Although bodies of letters may include idol aliases, assume every envelope and package is addressed to or otherwise uses the official idol name of the character.
Letters found in the "Everyone" header may be assumed to be part of every unit's box, most likely with multiple copies of the submission unless otherwise stated.
Characters on hiatus have their fanmail IC saved and stuffed into their mailbox for when they return! They'll be located in this post for easy findings, but don't worry, the fans' feelings will reach the character somehow ;)
Fanmail given to dropped characters will be sent to everyone in the unit, though still labeled with the dropped character's name. You can find these in the "Every Unit" subheader. ]

Thing #2
Re: Thing #2
Inside is a message written in a crisp, elegant script—except for the very beginning, Thing #2, which looks more like a printed label over whiteout. ]
Thing #2,
I trust the art style was recognizable enough. If not, at least I know you'll appreciate the subject matter.
Has it been long yet? I'm not sure how the time difference between us works. It feels like too long already, but I have been doing my best to keep my mind off of it. I think my brother would find a building to throw me off of if I didn't.
I do have a new set of climbing gear, so that threat remains as harmless as ever even if I have abandoned my powers.
[ There's a quick sketch in the margins of a small, smug figure swinging away on a cable while a slightly larger, cranky figure looks on disapprovingly ]
I suppose you'd much rather hear about what I've been doing since we left. We arrived at the beginning of summer vacation, so the question of school has yet to come up. And my brother has banned me from even part-time jobs, so I've had quite a bit of time to myself. I found a skatepark near the apartment we're staying in and started to teach myself how to skateboard. It isn't particularly difficult, but I've been enjoying it all the same. It gives me something to do while everyone else is at work.
I know, I should be making friends my own age instead, right? If I haven't made any by the time we meet again, then you can bully me about it. Until then you'll have to be satisfied knowing that I'm just spending my days playing. I know that's a difficult thing to ask, but I have faith in you.
Until we meet again,
DEMON SPAWN
[ Similarly to the beginning of the letter, DEMON SPAWN looks more like a printed label over whiteout. ]
Re: Thing #2
It's largely pics of pretty marine-themed places resembling a certain lounge that recently opened near the hotel.
One of the pictures is a selfie of a familiar face wearing what looks like it might be a school uniform, especially with the presence of other teenage boys wearing the same outfit in the background. He's waving shyly at the camera.
On the back is written a short message:
"I got out ok.
I'm staying with a friend now. Thank you for the advice.
There's lots of new things to learn and get used to, and it's really
noislively here.I think I like it, though.
I hope you're doing ok, too.
I'd like to see your art again someday.
May you be safe, and may your freedom come soon."
