Both. Lysidian was full of water. People don't live on natural land, it's all under the Leshtaya. And it churns, constantly, unceasingly. It is always storming.

I'm sure there is a explanation for the churning. Though your star does seem on the difficult side for habitation.

The...I suppose my world's equivalent of aether is very much in flux and overly predisposed to water. It was not always so. It seemed to favour water, yes, but not to the present degree.

People find a way...I am ever impressed at human ingenuity, especially under duress. Though there are drawbacks even so.
