The Liars will have a shared night post if there is more than one Liar unit in play. This will allow them to see who else is a Liar (before night actions, at least) and to discuss possible courses of action for the day.
Liars will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The follower is told who the Liar units are, but does not communicate with them during the night phase. The Liars are not told who their follower is.
The follower wins if all Liar units are alive by the end of the game, and does not have to have survived themselves to accomplish this. The village likewise does not win if the follower is killed, only if a Liar unit is killed.
The follower will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
Betrothed units will have a shared night post if both are in play. This will allow them to see who their partner is (before night actions, at least) and to discuss possible courses of action for the day. Betrothed units are villagers and win if at least one Liar unit is killed.
Betrothed units will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The seer can choose to either look at one other unit's role, or look at two roles that have been set aside. This will not change the seer's role. The seer is a villager and wins if at least one Liar unit is killed.
The seer will not know if the role(s) they looked at end up changed by later actions, or if their own role is changed before the end of the night.
The thief switches roles with one other unit of their choice. They will know their new role, but they cannot perform the associated night actions. If the thief becomes a hunter, however, they will be able to use the hunter's skill of "shooting" another unit if they are executed.
If the thief becomes a Liar or an onryou, they will win as a Liar or an onryou would win.
The unit whose role is stolen by the thief becomes a thief instead of their previous role. However, they will still be able to perform the night actions of their previous role. (The troublemaker will still be able to switch other units' roles, and the drunk will still be able to switch their own role.) The thief is a villager and wins if at least one Liar unit is killed.
The thief will not be informed if their role is changed by the troublemaker before the end of the night. (The exception to this would be if they became the hunter and then lost that role, in which case they will be informed that they will not be able to use the hunter's "shooting" skill during the day phase.)
The troublemaker can choose two other units and switch their roles. They can only pick units; they can't switch anyone's role with a role that was set aside. The troublemaker does not get to know the roles they exchange. The troublemaker is a villager and wins if at least one Liar unit is killed.
The troublemaker will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The drunk chooses a role that has been set aside and becomes that role. They will still perform this action even if their role was previously changed by the thief or the troublemaker, and will not know that the role they are exchanging is now something other than "drunk." Their previous role will become one of the three set aside in place of their new role. The drunk does not get to look at their new role or perform its night actions. If a unit holds the role of drunk at the end of the game, the drunk is a villager and wins if at least one Liar unit is killed.
The drunk is the last night action to be applied; once they have traded in their role, no other changes can be made to it.
The onryou, or "vengeful spirit," wins if they are killed. They do not win if the village wins, only if they die. If the onryou is killed, only the onryou wins.
The onryou will not know if their role is changed by the end of the night.
The hunter has no night action. If the hunter is voted to be executed, they can choose another unit to "shoot," and that unit will also die. The hunter is a villager and wins if at least one Liar unit is killed.
If the hunter's role is changed during the night, they will not know their new role, however they will be informed that their ability to "shoot" another unit has been removed.
Please write your own unit's name in the header and the unit you're voting for execution in the body of the comment. Units get one vote per unit, not per person.
Comments will be screened until the end of the game but will then be revealed publicly (icly and oocly!).
