[Well, that tracks both for Hope and Serenity's perception of her! He smiles, but the metal screech makes him mcfucking drop the volume, clapping his hands over his ears. Turns out sounds of destruction are like, bad when you have apocalypse trauma!!

If it passes after a time, he's going to uncurl, shakily pick up the volume and try to put it back on the shelf, then head in the direction of the noise.]
