But I'll be clear. I'm not interested in your tests, or passing 'em. It's a hell of a way to go about interacting with people. Putting them through trials of worthiness. Couldn't live like that, myself.

It is not as if your people cannot be better. They simply choose not to. And therein lies the fault.

To me? They existed. That was good enough to think they deserved to live.

Ha, I think it's the opposite. You'd be a lot easier to deal with if you were heartless. Fact that you still care so much after all this time is why you're a pain the ass.
