When you start off, you find yourself in a hallway with a single door. When you walk through the door, you'll find yourself in a child's bedroom. There's no noise besides the rain pouring outside, not that you can see it considering it's completely pitch black outside.

Sure. They use this stuff in all the ghost movies.

People watch people looking for ghosts?

Sure. Scary movies are totally a thing.

oh. Right. I guess it would be that. If they found anything.

They got shows and stuff for it, too, where people go around in real life looking.

They do? Isn't that how you get cursed?

I mean, maybe? Guess that ain't enough to stop em, though.

Yeah! It looks like each ghost type will respond to a couple of these tools, so if we wave a bunch of them around we're bound to discover something. It's, ah, more intricate than that, but... consider that the jist~!

...okay I'll use the flashlight.

Sure! [ she tears a page of the journal out and writes down all the ghosts and draws little pictures of the evidence required to identify them. ] Let me know if you find anything. I'm going to keep track for us.

I have never been ghost hunting before! but it seems like it could be fun. I've seen it in moves though.

Movies about...hunting ghosts on purpose?

Yeah! there was an entire series on TV about it called ghost hunters!

A kid's room is naturally one of the most creepy places, but I'm not sure which of all of this is, like, super creep central.

Yeah. Little kids are usually, like, prime targets for ghosts and demons to possess. I guess because they're more susceptible?
