"You shouldn't need to do field research, although I'll accept any you've already done; the books here should be sufficient for references. The shelves contain a wide variety of background reading, and there's a computer center if you want to look up particular keywords."
[Well, there are probably other 'students' around somewhere. And the research material itself should help provide some sort of context. She's not Alphinaud, but she's a quick reader, a fast learner, and can write legibly at speed (in Eorzean. Can Hope read Eorzean?) It will probably be all right.
[Probably.
[Perhaps.
[But, just in case: Alisaie can also read upside down. So she's going to try and read the papers on Hope's desk to see if the titles give her any further clues as to what in the seven hells she's supposed to be turning in. Discreetly.]
Previous students seem to have turned in topics such as:
- "Vampires are Bad" (20/100, "I agree, but too facile") - "Have You Considered Being Nicer" (0/100, "no") - "There Is No Such Thing As A Monster" (5/100, "please provide definitions") - "Vampires Seem Really Cool" (0/100, "I hate you personally")
Whatever language this all is written in, you seem to be able to read it? So it seems as if Tokyo-F translation rules apply.

Re: TALK TO THE PROFESSOR
[Which is a conundrum in itself, since I have no memories at all of my schooldays. Huh.]
I admit I'm not quite as familiar with computers, though. Mayhap I should head to the stacks?
