Well, in looking for roof access you also run into someone else. It's a little unclear how you get to the roof, though.

[She'd been looking into the noise the same as he was when she ran into him. But since there's no obvious roof access--]

We should check the nearby rooms for any signs of damage. Whatever it was may have broken through. Or if it's structural, we'll have to look for whatever mends we can make to ensure nothing else collapses.
