hunger games: session 6

[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:

Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)

Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.

The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

Huh? What? Oh.

[He will]

[Take that back.]

[He blinks, looking around, grimacing.]

[And he slaps his own face, shaking his head after with some Cloud Nine.] Ugh, that's annoying... [But getting less so now.]

What's going on?

The announcers reminded everybody that we gotta kill somebody ta deactivate the deathtraps all over the map, put a target on our SiV buddy's back for havin' the lowest HP, and her new friend from Zrael took off with her through a portal, so who knows where they are now.

I think movin' around triggers more traps--and there's something weird marked on the map that's movin' around--that started at the WcDonard's...

...so that's why they're gone?

Its close to us. Chances are high it'll come here and that's probably not good. So either we go to the waterpark, junkyard for exists, and hope its better while dealing with the turrets....or acid.

...I wonder if a death we revive someone from would count...

Mmmmm...

The problem is I don't think it'll be easy ta find somebody who'd let us without a fight, which would just be causin' more injuries that need healin' later.

...true. [He sighs, rubbing at his face.]

Leaving means more turrets. Its luck they don't show up. How often do they go off with us sitting here?

Only when I shot at 'em. We should be good if we just sit tight.

Except whatever's on the map might come in here... maybe the turrets'll hit it.

Doubtful.

But leaving will definitely put us at risk. Waiting is just the chance to. And going elsewhere may not protect us.

So here seems best. Be ready for an attack.

[Pushing himself up and he is going to do a search, but its a 4 so doesn't matter.]

Stuff up here might not be able ta follow inta the sewers, if it comes ta that...

[Hm.. Well, just gonna have him a Blind Box: When equipped, roll 3d3 upon entering a room. If the result is even, acquire a random item. If the number is odd, acquire disappointment.]

But the acid could also be all the way up the ladders by now.

So might just be the last ditch thing to do.
