[ You find yourself in your respective unit's zone, with a mini-map on your phone, as well as your objectives:

Kill as many competitors as you can.
Destroy zones by breaking their statues.
Not enough action = We start killing you :)

Underneath the objectives is the number of revivals you have left, as well as whatever miscellaneous details about scoring points—killing a unitmate results in negative points, five units will be healed at most, etc.

The starting horn sounds. Let the games begin. ]

It can be a bit of a learning curve....but I'm not fighting anyone.

He's annoyed at dying, but that just means he's decided to fight defensively if people seem like a threat.

Hmm, working on perfecting my flame sword. And making Caeli a lance that can split into two. And a bow that doubles as a blade, but don't tell him that, he doesn't know about that one yet.

A flightsuit for Miya. Also don't tell her. I'm just like...its one of those things where she could absolutely love it or hate it and its terrifying because she could fly before and now she can't.

Working on some extra presents for people?

[Idly leaning his head on Rye's shoulder. This is practically an embrace by now, but hopefully if we pile on the distractions we can escape too much moon mutterings.]

[He is leaning into this embrace so much. Human contact is wonderful.]

Caeli asked for it and he likes to fight. And while I can fight, I'm a lot better at making weapons. The better the weapon, the better they can use their skills to protect themselves, probably more effective thing for me to do.

And I want to give Miya a really good date and if it goes well, it'd be really good.

Gonna try one for Hurricane too, but his leg makes it a little harder. I know it was a problem while making myself one, getting the balance right without a leg. I think Hurricane would think its cool and it'd go well with the parkour, but its a lot less higher stakes them Miya.

Absolutely. Hurricane deserves all the love because he's amazing and doesn't love himself near enough.

He was beating himself up about not being around to save everyone here, too, so it's super important.

He always does that. Takes too much responsibility for things.

But I don't think he gets that its not actually a good thing to do. Or people just want him to be happy.

He's a child soldier from a world where that occupation doesn't usually make it past their teens, based on his memories.

He's used to being sacrificed for the greater good - whatever he thinks that should be.

Which is stupid. Kids should be protected more.

Even vikings got that. I only got trained as young as I did was because of numbers, but everyone knew that. It was about what was necessary, but everyone knew they didn't want it. And even then...younger was to protect the home. Not go out.
