endgame pt 1
Who: Competitors no longer hungry for games
Where: The Game Tower
When: Day 408, night (the game took the whole day)
[ Wow! That was wild. Wild ass shit.
Now you're all here. Most of you remember everything that happened. Some of you might remember most things, but not Session 18/19 because time and stuff. Don't worry. It'll show up in your dreams. :)
Anyway, you're probably wanting to go home now. That's too bad! The doors are locked, so you can just sit back and vibe.
All screens show: Please wait. Processing results.
Powers are off too—but then, you're also not currently injured or suffering from status effects.
All of you except for members of AlcheME!, who all 1) can somehow open the doors and leave, 2) have powers on, and 3) are not healed or revived whatsofuckingever. Status effects are OOC optionally kept, but no extra abilities (such as Flames) are kept.
Well.
It seems like they're probably definitely rock bottom so. ]

Nothing to WRITE with, how's he supposed to keep track ugh.]—Believe me, I will. Sometime when we're not — waiting on pins and needles for the other shoe.

Anything I can get for you? I'm able to leave if I like.

...Could go for a beer, if you really wouldn't mind.
[ All alcohol around here seems to be the same price, but he might especially like something cheap and crappy. ]

Here take them~~~
Alcheme has hammerspace magic that overlaps with mild teleportation.
no subject
—Huh. That could be really useful.
[ Takes the six pack. Beat: ]
How much do I owe you?

Thanks. [ Repeating, a little numbly. He currently can't even imagine that many points. ] —Did you want one?
[ You don't quite look legal to him, but he's already decided that this whole hell-game-show sitch would be an exemption from his world's drinking age even if it mattered here. ]

[ Settles the six pack in front of him. ...It's kind of comforting just to have it, if he's honest. A glance back at B. ]
—I'm sorry. [ But the moment it's out of his mouth it seems so... inadequate. Pauses, then: ] K told me about it. That your unit's abilities — aren't all that useful in this kind of game.

I couldn't fight someone even if it was in my nature to do so.
But running away, making friends who help, those are things I can do. And that did help.
I'm just sorry I wasn't there to help Lark out...

[ Sort of an awkward pause. ]
I'm still learning how things work here. I thought, I just won't attack any of the healers or the revivers, that'd be stupid. —I know the teams aren't exactly balanced. But it still didn't even occur to me that more people might need protecting.
[ He tried to protect Tsukasa because he ran into him. He would've done the same for Lark, but...
In his defense, pretty much every single healer from his canon is also built like a tank.]no subject
In the end its all up to what you can handle.
no subject
—Yeah. I'll figure it out, I guess. [ Heh. ] This was sort of a trial by fire. I guess most of us... newbies should just be grateful if we survived at all.
[ In any sense of the word. ]

You can be as mad or sad or annoyed as you want. This all sucked for people! Just because you weren't personally placed into a giant blender and made into a suffering smoothie doesn't mean you can't feel some sort of way!
Though I understand the Well At Least I Wasn't In a Blender is in its own way a coping method and that I won't argue with.

—but he's tired. He's tired and he hasn't been able to locate Tsukasa yet and Lark is dead and all the peps and some of the sIVs are just waiting to join him and...
Lupine massages one wrist slowly while he thinks it through. ]
Yeah, no... blender here. [ Muted, though. ] I like a good fight, and some people were interested in giving me one. [ Rub, rub. ] In fact, if they'd stuck to people who felt like that? If it had just been... say, two rounds? And if the dome, or whatever, hadn't blown up all but one of the fights I was trying to have...
