The ground rises gently, and as it does, a verdant forest springs up around you. The ground is solid but springy beneath your feet, and a huge variety of colourful flowers bloom all around you. Bright sunlight filters through the canopy. The warm, pleasantly scented air is probably a relief after the swamp.

Square 17 marks the beginning of a steep hill, cresting at Square 20, where you'll find the other end of the rope bridge you saw earlier. By the time you reach Square 21, the trees are starting to thin, going from lush, dense forest to steadily more scraggly woodlands.

There's some luck, finally.

Let's just stay here on this nice grassy hill.

I guess we didn't come across too many intentional horrortraps, but Ren-chan still got hit with something... We played a bit 'n therefore noone should criticize us. [FINDING A LOG TO SIT ON SO HE CAN TAKE OFF HIS SHOES TO DUMP SOME WATER OUT]

I guess that's true...

Maybe if they want me ta be excited ta win games they should give me some games that are fun ta win.

Y'know what, I like frogs. They eat bugs which is gross, but good.

Less bugs, more frogs, the way all swamps should be.

At least this isn't a bad place to rest.

It's a nice change after all of those pools.

Finally free of the water.

And we got to skip over whatever strange things they may have put in the forest, too.

A lot of dangerous things in the woods. Especially this dead. Things are usually starving when it's like this.

We skipped over the denser part, so I suppose if we keep moving we'll just have to be on the lookout.
