HEART SOLDIER SENSHI
[you find yourself in this derelict village, with not a soul to be seen—but before you is this station wagon:

for all intents and purposes, this baby is a simple "honk, steer, pedal to go, brakes to stop" vehicle that anyone with opposable thumbs can drive. despite its age, it does have a handy GPS system that displays paths you can take, but fails to identify anything like landmarks or other worldly features. last but not least: its paint job is done in your unit's color!
The following can be found in the trunk/dashboard:
• Icepicks
• These 5 Bone Saws
• A surgical set
• A single miniature of 99 Bananas
• one large first aid kit containing nothing but bandages and bandaids]

THE FOREST
THE FOREST
The path you've chosen leads you through a forest with low-hanging branches that scrape the roof of the vehicle. Leaves crunch beneath the tires as you steadily drive through, and the fog is far too thick. Actually... is it just you, or does the path seem to be narrowing as if the trees are closer and closer?
EVENT: One of the trees turn towards the car, with an evil grin engraved in its bark. A long and sturdy branch crashes through one window to the other in an effort to shish kabob multiple someones. Fortunately—or well, unfortunately—it scrapes everyone else, but it does stab one person straight in the eye with one of the off-shooting branches. As the tree pulls its offending branch back in retreat, it takes that eye with them, leaving someone with a bloody, gaping eye socket.
REACTION/DISCUSSION
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
(Why isn't Hurricane driving again?
Oh.
Because hands...) ]
Duck and keep away from the windows please.
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Are you able to help staunch the bleeding?
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Do I just apply pressure, or - ?
[Reaching to help]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
That's - that's a good idea. Lemme just, like -
[Time to dive-roll into the back seat, as you do]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[ Someone is gonna just continue to road rage against the trees then.
You got this. ]

Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Alisaie, can you hear me?
Take deep breaths for me, all right?
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[He can't see you. That much filters through, after what feels like an eternity of darkness and terrible, throbbing pain. There's blood on her fingers, too much of it.]
Z--
[Breathe.]
Zhongli, I--
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Yes?
Keep talking. I'm here. We're all here.
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[She grits her teeth.]
It hurts--
[Sorry.]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[ Another squeeze ]
Do you feel the people next to you? That is Alphinaud and Hurricane. They are going to tend to your injury.
So, please do what you need to do to manage the pain.

Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[Doesn't feel the branches as they scratch at her skin. It's nothing compared to the sudden white-hot pain in her eye, the feeling of nameless somethings being pierced and torn and wrenched, the sudden gout of wet and sticky heat that spills down her right cheek.
[The world, of course, goes dark.
[It's that which has Alisaie screaming, and for a long and breathless and agonizing moment it's very, very hard for her to stop.]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[Thank goodness he still has the hands and only lost the skin. It means he can listen when Zhongli asks him to staunch the bleeding. Which is to say, diving into the back seat to help out]
Just - just lay down on the seat, okay?
[Fumbling off his jacket, so he has something to apply pressure with]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
Alisaie-!!
[His voice carries in the space of the car, a dismayed sound as he reaches for her.]
Stop- we should stop-
[Sorry, he's panicking and trying to help Hurricane put pressure on her eye.]
Alisaie-
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
[She can feel them clustered about her now, feel hands pulling at her own, lifting them from her face - she doesn't want to ask what it is they see there, doesn't want it in words, not now. They're clutching at her, dragging her down to the seat and Alisaie reaches out, snatches at someone's hand: could be Hurricane's, could be Alphinaud's, she hopes it's Alphinaud, it's certainly cold enough and she--
[(--I want my brother--)
[--she hates that he's here to see this, and it matters quite terribly that he should be.]
Brother...
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
He's right here. We got you, you're gonna be fine -
[Manages to get the latch open, clumsily, and fumble out the bandages]
Re: REACTION/DISCUSSION
You're alright. I've got you.
[He whispers soothing words while Hurricane tries to fumble with the first aid kit. His voice is still shaking and she'll feel something wet dripping occasionally onto her skin. He's holding onto her hand and brushing his fingers through her bangs, part to keep them out of the way of her injury but also a familiar gesture.]
I-I'm so sorry. I can't heal you - I can't-
[His voice breaks and he bites his lip to keep from trying to talk or cry.]

ONE OF YOU ARE FREEZING!
Hypothermia: you're freezing, and if you don't get body heat now (or through the night) from at least one other person, you get the feeling you won't make it through the night.
Frostbite: one part of your body (a finger, a hand, a foot, a limb, a patch of skin, ANYTHING) is being consumed by numbing frostbite. If someone doesn't help you remove it stat, you will not make it through the night.
DECISION
Will you take the LEFT PATH or the RIGHT PATH?
