[you find yourself in this derelict village, with not a soul to be seen—but before you is this station wagon:

for all intents and purposes, this baby is a simple "honk, steer, pedal to go, brakes to stop" vehicle that anyone with opposable thumbs can drive. despite its age, it does have a handy GPS system that displays paths you can take, but fails to identify anything like landmarks or other worldly features. last but not least: its paint job is done in your unit's color!

The following can be found in the trunk/dashboard:
• Icepicks
• These 5 Bone Saws
• A surgical set
• A single miniature of 99 Bananas
• one large first aid kit containing nothing but bandages and bandaids]

[ Why would anyone in their right mind not take the cabin?! Especially when it's so cold outside.

Zhongli parks as close as he can get to the front door (less walking) before leading/carrying/dragging everyone inside and curling up on one of the kotatsu cushions with Hurricane tucked against his side like a dragon greedily hoarding their treasure. As he miserably shivers even though it's toasty as a summer day in this room.

The twins are of course welcome to join.

But only if they are warm. ]

[Honestly not that bothered by this, he is outright shivering by now, enough that his teeth are chattering]

You did nothing of the sort. There was no way you could have known that opening the gate would have resulted in this.

[ He traces the edge of one of the bandages ]

[Shivering, still, as he huddles in against Zhongli, though it's getting better]

I'll take that to mean just inconvenient for you.

[ He grabs the cushion that probably Hurricane was supposed to use but instead adds it to their next of cushions and coats and whatnot to stave off the cold.

And then with a tired smile, he gently pats Hurricane on the shoulder. ]

I mean... it h-hurts, but I've had worse.

[Scooting closer, burrowing into the fabric pile]

H-how bout you? You d-doing okay?

[ The most grumpy old man that Hurricane has ever seen Zhongli: ]

I hate the cold.

Ahh... sorry, dude. That's r-rough.

...you w-wanna break out the booze from the trunk? I bet th-that'd warm you up, some.

[She's weary; the heat isn't helping. She shakes her head as if to clear it, and her vision swims.]

[ Sticks an arm out from under his Hurricane warmth pile and gestures for Alisaie to take it.

[ There is no "little nearer". As soon as she is within arm length's she is absorbed into Zhongli's dragon hoard--- ahem, I mean cuddle pile. Watch the elbows and knees but Alisaie gets a free pass because she can't see well at the moment.

With the odds set against us, I doubt any unit is faring too well at the moment.

We should take a rest when we can. Even if this might all be an illusion of one.

[ He's a giant half lizard currently sunning on a rock - or in this case a kotastsu and two unitmates ]
