Clearly.

Stepping onto the elevator, the doors slide shut behind your character - and suddenly, the walls are translucent glass, making it distressingly obvious that the elevator hangs suspended over deadly spikes below.

The elevator gives a lurch - it won’t remain suspended for much longer. But there’s a sense... not quite a voice, but nevertheless, the knowledge...

Why not just go to the end result? It’s already fairly clear how this will conclude. Why suffer so needlessly...?

If they wish it, they can merely skip to the sordid end.

There isn’t much time to decide. They can jump ahead in this tale - or fall to their certain doom.

[He's not going to START listening to that weirdo voice at this point, okay. Get that trauma going.]

Time’s up.

There’s almost a feeling of weightlessness as the elevator begins to fall, the walls rushing past the glass that surrounds them. If they’re brave enough to look down, they’ll see exactly how quickly the spikes below approach right up until their ears are filled with the sounds of shattering glass and crunch of their body impacting against the spikes and glass below. Death is pointed, painful, and not quite instant.

Until they wake up perfectly fine in a room, anyway. Their hangman game has been updated.
