Nemesis and Hurricane's Ideal World: Session 1

[The sky above is a deep, unnatural crimson, filled with roiling clouds and creatures that are a sickly oil-slick black. They writhe and wriggle like something out of a Lovecraftian nightmare; they have entirely too many eyes, and entirely too many wings, and when they open their mouths, they have entirely too many teeth]

[Below them, the city of Tokyo is half-shattered; above the rooftops, mechanized suits the size of people hover in the air, darting in out of the chaos, laser blasts and explosions and wickedly sharp blades fighting tirelessly against the endless onslaught]

[Until finally, the last creature falls]

[All at once, civilians flood the streets of the city; the lights come on in all the buildings, which somehow have become whole again, safe and unharmed. A cheer goes up from the crowd. Overhead, a stunning fireworks display paints the night with light and color]

[And they all lived happily ever after]

[The end]

[Further into the room are items without labels, but seemingly maintained with the same amount of regard – shelves of what look to be fanbooks, and boxes of letters, the signed invitation to the grand opening of something called 'Gold's Place' laid on top.]

[An arm made of cardboard and another made of Legos are displayed next to actual prosthetics of varying levels of technology. Beside that sits a large, half-built cruiser motorcycle. Past that are chocolates and skates and medals for track and field and another key, golden and delicately filigreed with a feathered design.]

[There is more in the room, but you probably don't need to keep looking around. Best to RETURN TO THE GENKAN.]

[It is warm and bright--almost too hot to the touch, searing his skin. But it's nothing he couldn't handle through a glove or sleeve to slip into a pocket]

[Well,]

[The room becomes darker and more cramped as you continue on, the exhibits shifting as well. Heavy metal wreckage scorched and splattered with dark ichor. A kitchen sink, half the bloodied water spilt over the floor. The twisted carcass of a bicycle, its speed lines ripped and paint flaking.]

[Beyond all this, blithely ripping up some of those paper letters, is a shapely dark-haired girl.]
