So, would you say that you- she- gave him a reason to move, even if it was tough? If the ideal for him right now is not to have to wake up... What else could it have been that got him to do it before?

There's a mumble like "why am I the one explaining shit", though she seems to think better of outright saying it clearly.

"I don't know what the hell he's been doing if you don't think he'd move Heaven and earth for her. And I don't know, you don't think he's normally a stubborn asshole?"

No. Well, not in a bad way.

I think he's young, like you, and that the world isn't always a great place. Being able to be stubborn and love something just means you still have that fight in you somewhere.
