Nemesis and Hurricane's Ideal World: Session 2
[The sky above is a deep, unnatural crimson, filled with roiling clouds and creatures that are a sickly oil-slick black. They writhe and wriggle like something out of a Lovecraftian nightmare; they have entirely too many eyes, and entirely too many wings, and when they open their mouths, they have entirely too many teeth]
[Below them, the city of Tokyo is half-shattered; above the rooftops, mechanized suits the size of people hover in the air, darting in out of the chaos, laser blasts and explosions and wickedly sharp blades fighting tirelessly against the endless onslaught]
[Until finally, the last creature falls]
[All at once, civilians flood the streets of the city; the lights come on in all the buildings, which somehow have become whole again, safe and unharmed. A cheer goes up from the crowd. Overhead, a stunning fireworks display paints the night with light and color]
[And they all lived happily ever after]
[The end]

[She turns and smiles back, eyes crinkling (Charisma 28). Straight on, she definitely looks more familiar--like a more femme and beautiful version of one of his teammates, actually,]
Honestly, you really oughtn't spend time here, either. If--"Nemesis" isn't able to find you later, you know how she gets. But I can trust in you to take care of my darling sister, can't I?

I would like nothing more than to find her. Naturally I would take care of her. What is this party about, then...? Can you tell me about it? If you would, I could do with a little direction.
[ He's going to tuck the mail into his bag for safe-keeping. ]
Any information you could provide me would be useful, you know. Rather than these letters, some of the items in this place are a little disturbing, to say the least.

[The word comes out with some disdain--or perhaps not, perhaps you just misheard (CHA 37). She leans in closer, smile gentle and scent some incredibly classy floral mix.]
There's really nothing youneed to know. All you need to do is make sure she doesn't do anything foolish, alright? I'm sure you know as well as I that some people just can't be trusted to make their own decisions. Just make sure she doesn't get hurt, alright?

Well, I promise to protect her. But she is beyond capable? I have been the recipient of her aid endless times now. I admire her, even if she likes to poke fun of me and sometimes has a disagreeable habit of teasing or putting her feelings last.

Well, well. I'll have to thank you for humoring my little sister. But there's no reason to be so kind with me. I know just how "disagreeable" she can get.
[She leans in closer still, enough to tell her warmth and feel the softness of her chest]
...I believe she might try something worrisome at this party. She can be so dramatic! But you'll help stop her--protect her from herself. Won't you please?

[ Flustering. Further. His cheeks burn red and he takes a step back. Clearing his throat, his hands reach gently to either side of her arms in order to try and pull back a little from her. ]

[ Another clearing of his throat. ]
I believe I should take my leave.

Be careful at the party. If you can help me keep her safe...that's all that matters. Alright?
[Does attempt to give him a peck on the cheek, sorry (12 to hit if that is necessary)]

[ Swallowing thickly, before taking another step back, and probably bumping into something, before correcting himself. This isn't how he thought this encounter might go...?? Regardless... he... is going to fly back to the GENKAN if he is able to. ]
