[And there's always a student like Alisaie who would much rather be sitting on her desk than at it. So she's going to do that now.]

I do wish we could wait a while, sometimes. Would it really be so bad to take a place like this as it comes, at least for long enough to enjoy it?

That, I agree with. It's cruel. But I'm not going to lose her in this, however happy she seems. [ Her protectiveness here will not be easy to miss. Ren is special to her. ]
