Tea's Heart - Session 2
INFO
❍ Characters are aware that Tea's heart is being threatened by CORRUPTION.
❍ If you're in the same run, you can interact!
❍ Unit abilities are MIGHT BE ON — if, and only if, Tea has seen them work or your character has explicitly told her about them — unless otherwise specified.
Nothing Up My Sleeve can't access locations outside of the heart.
❍ Canon abilities MIGHT BE ON —if, and only if, Tea explicitly knows that they're a thing — unless otherwise specified.
❍ Characters have whatever was on their person at the time, including their cell phone!
❍ Over the course of the heart, characters are very likely to be afflicted with STATUS EFFECTS. This will be OOCly determined by dice roll. You can have more than one status effect at a time, but multiples of the same don't stack.
The top levels that require a roll will have a note.
Each time you move to a different top level thereafter, you can roll 1d10 to see whether the effect lingers (1-6) or fades (7-10).
❍ Injury and death are possible.

Re: DRESSING ROOM
"Oh, hi! Another visitor?"
This person sure looks like Tea. Kinda? Mostly? Her hair is blond instead of blue/multicoloured, and of a regular thickness rather than CRAZY FLOOF. Her only ears are normal human ones, and her eyes a nice shade of Regular Blue with round pupils rather than Tea's bright jewel blue catslit pair. She's wearing casual, non-Imeeji-style clothes.
Re: DRESSING ROOM
[can absolutely see the similarities but that is definitely not Tea, wow. coughs sheepishly]
Uh, yeah, sorry for barging in. I'm kinda lost? And looking for a friend?
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"You're lost? Oh, geez... Uhm, there was a big man called Hardy in here earlier, is he the one you're looking for? I'm really sorry, I'm not sure where he went."
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Oh uh, I ran into that guy! No, I'm looking for a friend of mine named Tea, and someone named Miya. And a key to get into the stupid beehive, but that's a me problem, I'm pretty sure.
--oh, sorry, are you an actor or something?
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Re: DRESSING ROOM
I mean, that shouldn't be that surprising, because look at you--[wait]--I didn't mean that in a creepy way!!
But if you're here, why did that Kit person say you were missing. . .
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Pfffff -
Covers a laugh behind her hand, eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Don't worry, I don't think you sounded creepy at all." A pause ... "I don't know why Kit would tell you I'm missing, though. Are you sure it wasn't Ryou? He's got a weird sense of humour."
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Tree guy? Maybe she shouldn't ask. "Yep! Kit's my partner - he's a doctor in training!"
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"Because he loves them!" Peers at him -
Winces.
"Ooh, oh no, you got stung, didn't you?"
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"I'm the last person who could judge. I tried to snoop in them once, too. Ouch. Hang on, lemme see if I've got any cream left ..."
Gets up from her desk to snoop in some drawers.
Re: DRESSING ROOM
[GONNA WAIT POLITELY...but also properly glance around, seeing if anything super weird stands out
aside from like, not!tea anyway.]
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Another poster is of The Prisma Knight and his partner, the dragon Unisonya, flying into battle against some unseen foe!
There's also a whiteboard. There's writing all over it. Most is illegible — or rather, you feel like you should be able to read it if you could just concentrate. Too bad your mind just wants to gloss right over it!
You think you could pick out a few details, though, if you got closer.
Re: DRESSING ROOM
...scoots closer to the whiteboard. squinting]
All these posters are you? I thought you said you were a youtuber, you're like, a celebrity, the person of a bunch of faces! I don't remember the actual title of that movie.
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"Miya Truelove"
"26 y/o"
"Pronouns are she/her? they? he? no, not he. she or they."
"Lives with best friend, Kit, in a small village in East Yorkshire, England"
"Born in Sheffield to parents"
"YouTuber, influencer, and model. Most popular series' are "Truelove's First" and "Singalong Saturdays."
"Best subject/s in school were music and p.e."
"Huh?" Miya looks over from her rummaging, "It's just wigs, binders, clever makeup and some special effects. Unless you mean the poster with the Knight and Unisonya? Those guys are like, actual superheroes."
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Oh, that's not you? Is that a co-star?
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Miya also became confused
"How could it be me? I'm human."
Re: DRESSING ROOM
Special effects! L-like you said. Or you could be the voice actor. . .!
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"Are they making a movie of them, or something?"
Re: DRESSING ROOM
They're real?! I thought since they were on the posters they were other entertainment things. . .so dragons are just normal here??
Re: DRESSING ROOM
With an "AHA" of triumph, she emerges from Rummaging with a tube of medicine in hand.
"The Knight and Unisonya are famous heroes! They appeared right after the Anomalies started happening. But, uh, I wouldn't say dragons are normal or anything like that. She's the only one we've seen so far."
Re: DRESSING ROOM
I'd ask if you were a fan, but, given you have their posters. . .what do you think of them? Like, personally?
Re: DRESSING ROOM
"The red things...? I haven't anything like that, but maybe they could be Anomalies, I guess? They take all sorts of different forms."
As for that question, she takes a moment to Think. "... I think they're really cool. They stepped up to help when nobody else could or would, and they keep helping, even when the job is a thankless one."
