Tea's Heart - Session 2
INFO
❍ Characters are aware that Tea's heart is being threatened by CORRUPTION.
❍ If you're in the same run, you can interact!
❍ Unit abilities are MIGHT BE ON — if, and only if, Tea has seen them work or your character has explicitly told her about them — unless otherwise specified.
Nothing Up My Sleeve can't access locations outside of the heart.
❍ Canon abilities MIGHT BE ON —if, and only if, Tea explicitly knows that they're a thing — unless otherwise specified.
❍ Characters have whatever was on their person at the time, including their cell phone!
❍ Over the course of the heart, characters are very likely to be afflicted with STATUS EFFECTS. This will be OOCly determined by dice roll. You can have more than one status effect at a time, but multiples of the same don't stack.
The top levels that require a roll will have a note.
Each time you move to a different top level thereafter, you can roll 1d10 to see whether the effect lingers (1-6) or fades (7-10).
❍ Injury and death are possible.

Re: THE DEN
She's been through so much. I hope getting rid of those vines did something, even if I was no match for her at the end. I didn't really want to be a match anyways.
Re: THE DEN
That's not a match anyone should have to be in. You've been doing good though. You've been helping a lot, Hardy.
Re: THE DEN
I hope so. Haven't been making the greatest decisions in high pressure situations lately.
Re: THE DEN
You been having a rough time? Outside of here, I mean.
Re: THE DEN
[beat]
I got me and some people I care about killed not long ago, in a really brutal way that left us messed up for awhile after others revived us. Tried to be a leader and I led us all to doom. Feels just like home. Not that my siblings really think of me as the leader.
Re: THE DEN
Being a leader always felt like a losing game to me. Sometimes, even when you try your best, the odds are against you. And that really, really sucks. But even so, you're still trying. You're still doing what you can to help and support the people important to you. I'm proud of you for that.
Odds were against you here but you've still done good work. It made a difference.
Re: THE DEN
Being a leader is hard. I don't know if being a hero is even possible. But I still end up trying. It's like there's some stupid part of me that can't let it go.
I can forget all that for right now if any of what I did ends up helping.
Re: THE DEN
I know Miya will appreciate everything you've been doing for her.
Re: THE DEN
Re: THE DEN
That's the most pressure to put on yourself.
Re: THE DEN
I guess it is a lot. I've treated it as a given for a long time now.
Re: THE DEN
The weight of the world isn't on your shoulders here. Whatever's happening at home, it's okay to set it down for the moment at least.
Re: THE DEN
You're right. One thing at a time. So, while I'm happy to lie here and be healed I feel like I should ask what happens next? Not like this is over.
Re: THE DEN
Re: THE DEN
Right. If there's still stuff to be done I'll do it. I've seen a lot of, how to say it, aspects of her? But I haven't found her yet, not really.
Re: THE DEN
She's still out there somewhere. You feeling right enough to go back to the search?
Re: THE DEN
Let's do this.
