[ Chosen idols will find themselves abruptly taken, in their unit's room one moment and out in a courtyard the next. An impossibly tall and incredibly dense garden hedge divides the courtyard into sections—moreover, it increasingly gets taller when climbed, preventing its residents from escaping their slice of the courtyard.

A few sparse bushes and trees decorate the area, but there's nothing to keep the hunted away from the hunter.

Everyone will find their unit powers are off. However, Hands and Mouths can feel the power deep within themselves—they can grasp that power and turn into their monster form, should they desire so. Hands will find themselves in a natural disadvantage, however: they're much smaller than their Mouth counterparts, diminutive in size, and moreover, while they acquire whatever claws and teeth their monster form affords them, Mouths are capable of strength beyond that—faster agility and strength at minimum, though they may also have supernatural abilities, such as the ability to breathe fire. ]

[moving with speed that surprises him for a second as he lurches forward with the sledgehammer starting to arc over his head to swing down at Sakura's skull]

[he's fast, and has the muscle memory of 2k+ years of conquering demons. ~~not that he remembers that yet~~. also not that it will ultimately avail him any in this fight, but he is good, and his skill as a master of a dancelike polearm martial arts style shows as he goes on the offensive.

...but even if he does manage to hit, he is his unit's heart matched up against a mouth. he's not going to be able to do damage even with his spear. but he's still going to try.]

[he gets jabbed in the shoulder but he barely reacts and just redoubles his efforts swinging his hammer repeatedly with full force and the advantage of boosted speed and strength on his side in addition to his normal bulk and combat training]

[here, in imeeji, he does not have his adeptus stamina, which allowed him to fight demons all night without pause. and he is against an opponent who, however temporarily, is more than human. he doesn't stop fighting, because of course he doesn't, but of course he cannot win. not here. not like this.

eventually, somewhere in there, he does falter, the moment in a long flight where a bird's wings might falter for just a moment.

it's only a moment, but it's enough.]

[and with that the hammer meets its target of his opponent's head/neck with a sickening crunch and Hardy wishes he felt more repulsed and less like his appetite is whetted]

[he is a magically shapechanged bird, slight of frame, and has birdlike bones.

which definitely shatter with the force of the blow. he makes no sound as he dies and the only sounds are first his polearm hitting the ground, shortly followed by his body.]

[dropping the hammer and... turning into a slime monster with two glowing lights for eyes and tentacles with fanged mouths growing out of it

the tentacle mouths latch on and began siphoning flesh and fluids into his slime body
