The Last Supper - Hunting Grounds

[ Chosen idols will find themselves abruptly taken, in their unit's room one moment and out in a courtyard the next. An impossibly tall and incredibly dense garden hedge divides the courtyard into sections—moreover, it increasingly gets taller when climbed, preventing its residents from escaping their slice of the courtyard.

A few sparse bushes and trees decorate the area, but there's nothing to keep the hunted away from the hunter.

Everyone will find their unit powers are off. However, Hands and Mouths can feel the power deep within themselves—they can grasp that power and turn into their monster form, should they desire so. Hands will find themselves in a natural disadvantage, however: they're much smaller than their Mouth counterparts, diminutive in size, and moreover, while they acquire whatever claws and teeth their monster form affords them, Mouths are capable of strength beyond that—faster agility and strength at minimum, though they may also have supernatural abilities, such as the ability to breathe fire. ]

[His fingers elongate to end in black talons, the ends of his hair catching fire as it transforms from blonde to blazing feathers, but that is as far as it goes for now.]

I doubt I am the sort you would like to have gotten to know more intimately. Though I am glad you are my friend, even now I fear you may be far too much of a good person.

[monster shift start! his body becomes translucent and his eyes start to glow as he... liquefies? that's not exactly right but it's close. soon he's a a huge blob of slime with two eerie lights floating for eyes and ichorous tentacles with fanged mouths at the ends burst out of his main gel body]

The good guy you always chalk me up to being isn't here today.

[He just has to take a moment to admire that.]

You look lovely, Luther. But I do not mean to dismiss you. After all, there is nothing wrong with being a principled person.

[He starts to transform as well, definitely catching more on fire, growing more feathers and wings and an extra two heads as he becomes some kinda bird. Only glowing more orange and on fire.]

Thanks. Principles... I'm not even sure where they come from, and that means I can set them aside.

[his eyes start to glow with a brighter light]

Hell of a form you've taken. I'd expect no less.

That is a shame. I may have few of my own, but one's principles are important.

[He flaps to hover, speaking from... All three heads I guess?]

[and with that he fires two strobing roving streams of lasers from his eyes, looking to sear and pierce bird!Cosmo]

Come then, shall we dance?

[He tries to dodge but he's a big bird. With a lot of wings. And he's not used to such a body. One laser just completely severs a wing, making him howl and dive for Luther, talons out.]

[Hardy's tentacles move to parry the talons but a few them get severed in the process of blocking and one of the talons reaches and slashes the main body, causing him to bellow with pain. But what's this? From the wound in the body a mist of highly corrosive acid is spilling out and clouding around Cosmo.]

[He's got THREE heads to breathe that from? He thrashes, trying to pull back or gain height but the acid is eating his feathers and flesh and he's inhaled enough to damage his lungs and throat as well.

He gathers fire, launching a fireball directly at Luther as he tries to scramble back, clumsy with a missing wing and acid burns.]

[The slime body merely makes a hole in itself for the fireball to pass through. He still gets singed, but it's a mostly effective dodge. Now he's going to fire off another set of eye lasers directly at Cosmo's unbalanced main body.]

[He can't hold the transformation, after that. Shot through by lasers and half melted. He doesn't quite fall back into his more human look either, a mess of wings and limbs as he collapses, half mangled but laughing and coughing.]

My--how splendid.

[also half shifting back down to human, he's not a blob but his eyes are still glowing, his body a translucent gel, and he still has a few tentacles sprouting out of his shoulders]

Told you today was gonna be different.

Well... well done.

[He's not mad, just you know, praising a good murder? Not like he's dead yet but given how badly damaged he is there not much fight he can offer so it's the same difference.]

I do... enjoy when one can follow through on their promises.

Well you don't have to worry about that, I'm plenty reliable right now.

[and with that he's going to go ahead and have his tentacle mouths stretch and latch onto Cosmo to start the vore

[He slaps half-heartedly at a tentacle before giving up and slumping back, laughing, pained. Just letting this happen, he did lose. ]

I never... thought you weren't.

Just one tiny question... Do I truly seem to treat you as an amusement?

[the tentacles continue eating but he considers for a moment before responding]

Dunno, sometimes. Other times though we've had really serious talks and you've helped me. Maybe I'm just sour and insecure. I want to matter more or something. Guess it's not that different from me before coming here after all.

[he's beginning to crawl over Cosmo's immobile form because he wants to taste with his own mouth and not just his monster form's]

[He lifts a hand to pat Luther's cheek when he's close enough.]

[gives a twisted smile and covers Cosmo's hand with his own for an instant]

See? You say stuff like that and I can't possibly be mad at you. You're pompous but if I didn't also care about and respect you I would want to do... all this. You're nothing like my dad though, I hate him and that he matters to me in any way. It's real different.

[and with that he's going to CHOMP onto Cosmo's neck, not super hard but it is still, well, eating someone]

[He tries to squeeze Luther's fingers lightly.]

Family is always--[Luther bites and his voice raises an octave, breathy. But he's already in enough pain he just keeps talking] complicated.

I think it best I be clear that, while at times I do find you entertaining, it is not the same as viewing you as an entertainment. I do wish you had a better view of yourself.

[growled into Cosmo's neck:]
