[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.

There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.

Ah—the door opens, and a fuzzy sort of shade steps in. It looks like idols will be serving the Damned, today. . . ? ]

[Part of the charm of the situation was to say one thing but be feeling something else, but like, if you tell him to think chaste thoughts they're automatically going to wander a little--he has a lot of firsthand experience with empathy bonds in intimate situations to call on. There's a sense of his thoughts brushing against that: the sort of purposeful Awareness exercise of noticing a pleasant sensation when her hand slides over his... but he pauses internally and draws back--his attraction up til now has been mainly play and theatrics, but...]

[ she's not flustered to realize there is actually some substance to this, because she's very rarely actually flustered, but she's clearly a little startled, in a guilty kind of way? possibly in a deep existential dread kind of way? ]

[Whatever substance was there dissipates the same way it was called up. He squeezes her hand though. Is that reassuring? Possibly it's obnoxious. Everything is getting quickly replaced with Big Nosiness (that's definitely an emotion).]

[Irritation just like makes his nosiness (affection)(winning) Increase--though on the plus side they probably need words to actually sate his curiosity and they're not doing that here. Part of him is certainly like 'nooo don't be maaaddd'--like an opposite wavelength that splits and meets and cancels out.]
