AlcheME! - SATURDAY NOON PST
[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.
There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.
Ah—the door opens, and a fuzzy sort of shade steps in. It looks like idols will be serving the Damned, today. . . ? ]

[After a beat he'll hold out his arm, presenting his wrist]

... He's probably gonna regret this, but at the same time, it feels weirdly rude to take it back. So he takes a deep breath, and ties to ribbon to I's wrist before tying the other end to his own. ]
Re: DISCUSSION/MINGLE
Alongside the nothingness, separate from it, are two competing moods clawing along the edges; almost like an echo chamber of two different peoples' similar yet opposite feelings. The feeling of simultaneously liking and disliking everything and nothing at all. Like a light peeking through the darkness is the constant hum of hate. Ever present and bubbling just under the surface.

Re: DISCUSSION/MINGLE
Lark freezes in place, all the way from his face down to his feet, as he seems to go through a number of emotions in either rapid succession or all at once, depending on how you look at it.
There's the internal sweating of someone realizing the risk I took was calculated but man am I bad at math, which is what Lark gets for trying to play empathy chicken and he really should have expected something like this, huh. Good job, Gracious Skylark, you fucking idiot.
Also, the hate is pretty alarming? It's pretty alarming. It's not that the feeling is foreign to him, but—something like this doesn't seem right. It makes him wonder how and why even though a part of him knows that's such a dangerous place to go to.
There's also the lowkey irritation of "not this shit again", not directed at I so much as it's directed at the general universe, and maybe a bit at Lark himself. How many times has he stepped into the abyssal pit trap now; three times? Actually, this might be the fourth? Seriously? Seriously? Once is already more than enough for a lifetime. He suspects most people don't get to be alive to experience it more than maybe twice, but maybe at this point, he shouldn't be surprised that he's this lucky.
...Slowly, Lark blinks. ]
Huh.

He ends up covering his face with a hand and laughs. It's a small one, and over the bond is dry amusement. ]
Geez, you two really would get along.
