[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.

There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.

This memory takes place high above ground, almost touching the clouds. The wind whips around you, but it's not unwelcome at all; on the contrary, it feels like an extension of you, an endless body that touches the tips of the world. You gaze down at a continent that looks like it could be beautiful, one day -- but it's ravaged with ice and snow, only just beginning to thaw and give way to the lush green trying to spring forth underneath.

After careful analysis of the terrain, the highest peaks of the mountains grab your ire. Though beautiful, their placement may keep the climate harsh in pockets, or allow the boreal chill to continue indefinitely. For a comfortable and prosperous land, where fruit can grow and humans can flourish, changes will have to be made. This land has been too cruel for too long.

. . . And yet, important as it is, this task is very annoying.

With resignation, you summon the wind, gathering a newfound power that sparks through your being, and violently rip the mountaintops from their base -- they split and collapse to rubble in the barren cold, or sail far until they're lost on the horizon. The whole world shakes and reverberates from it, for a time, but the terrain is left smoother; rolling hills rather than harsh peaks.


Afterwards, you descend to sit upon one of the decapitated mountain peaks, enormous wings sprawled haphazardly behind you. Hmmm . . . did you overdo it? ]

[ She hasn't really been able to contribute much. Not yet, really, and she feels poorly for that. She assumes that... since she doesn't really have any memories yet though, that she'll be spared from anything too much. But in the end, it seems a new one plays regardless.

And it's not what she expected at all.

From the delusional fantasy she experienced, to the hunger, to the talk with... her fiance? And the request to either have her kill him with her own hands... Or he kill her. She doesn't really know what to think toward the end, falling silent. ]

room you find yourself in is oddly futuristic, something you comment on - but the reasoning why is rather unsatsifactory. might as well have been "oh, just because."

it's a laser trap. (the first time Kitsu had seen this memory, he'd had to check and see if this was a memory or Imeeji itself screwing with him...) you are told to fend for yourself, with the helpful advice of "don't die."

no choice. you dodge the first arrangement of lasers, the second. you aren't so lucky on the third, the lasers sending unbelievable pain through your thighs. you hear the scream followed by a wet slosh, the sound of someone being sick, and everything goes dark.

it's not like the darkness of death in this world, though. you awaken. you'd only passed out. a comrade of yours berates you a little - it's meant fondly, but you're in no mood for it. it had been frustrating to reattach your legs, they had to hold them in place for so long and wait.

what?

you go to move them, and they don't feel right. they're not right. you protest, you can't continue a mission like this.

your leader says you're whining, asks about leaving you behind, and you feel something twist. it's how she is. you know it, but it cuts anyway. another pipes up.

no. they can't lose two sacrifices here.

so you get up and keep going, not wanting to be left behind. ]
