avante en garde - SATURDAY NOON PST
[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.
There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.
Ah—the door opens, and a fuzzy sort of shade steps in. It looks like idols will be serving the Damned, today. . . ? ]

[ Not that he's ever had the urge to try. ]
As for what happened, I showed up at sensitIV. I simply wanted to give my senior some gifts, because he was saddened by his unit's aesthetic. But then I could barely walk or talk straight, and I kept stumbling all around.
The next day I felt so sick to my stomach that I emptied it multiple times.

[ tch. don't they know there are starving children in Linowa.
she gives him a reassuring(?) squeeze on the shoulder. ]
Not to worry; you'll have plenty of chances to work on your tolerance. One sip here won't hurt you, but I'm happy to handle it myself if you're still—ah. Recovering your fortitude.
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
I'm... not scared to. I just don't generally have the urge...
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION

[ a grin ] The sort that gets passed around among soldiers is especially vile, but invigorating in its own way.
The ingredients here are almost certainly superior, ha.

Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
But even when the flavor is... ha, "lacking," shall we say... there is a kind of special camaraderie to it, I would say.
In life, sometimes one needs a bitter thing in order to appreciate sweetness. And, though liquor is certainly treacherous to the unwitting, I will not say I have not appreciated its gift for loosening tongues and easing minds, at least for a little while.

I've yet to be invited to one, though.
[ crossing her arms over her chest, exaggerated ]
Clearly they all tremble before my liquor-related might.

I think I've not met him yet. Previously, Shrike—your senior, on avante—was my steepest competition.
.....Which is to say, I think that woman could drink anyone she chose under a table.
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
[She's certainly not small compared to most, but he's been drinking and she's definitely smaller than he is. But then, who isn't?]
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
It's obviously right in the name—and none drinks so well as a soldier.
[ this is possibly bullshit but far be it from her to back down from even a vaguely implied challenge. ]
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
[If she's rising to the challenge, then he'll throw down the gauntlet.]
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
Is that a challenge, young man?
Re: ORDER 1 DISCUSSION
[He can't help but wag his tail a little.]
