Estinien? Oh, yes. Though I cannot claim I share the sentiment, Ser Estinien leaves my dear brother positively starry-eyed.

He has many admirable qualities!

The fact that he struggles with social settings is not lost on me, but I am sure he'll come around the longer he is with us.

Ah yes. I find Alphinaud's crush to be quite endearing.

Well, no mere mortal could ever have hoped to live up to the specimen of manhood that Alphinaud makes of him. I cannot be too critical of the man, however. I do owe him something of a debt.

He seems very - how should we call this... practical.

Well, mayhap. In most regards. I wouldn't trust him to carry my coinpurse, though.

No doubt that's another reason Alphinaud relates to him. He's every inch as terrible with money as Estinien...

Not entirely! We have a very formidable accountant. Knowing I'll have to explain all my expenses to her is quite enough to keep me in line. If only Alphinaud and Estinien were rather better at bearing that detail in mind.

Sometimes things much be learned the hard way - through trial and error and the harsh teaching of someone with your best interests in mind.

That aside, I am also interested in hearing about the other companions that were gathered around the table. At least one of them I do not believe I have ever seen in your memories.

I- He's- we're just friends. I admire him a great deal and he's always been like an older brother to me.

[God even the tips of his ears are red now. He's had some alcohol by this point too.]

I understand. I'm just a bit embarrassed, that's all. I didn't realize I gave that impression...

[Please, he does have his crushes but he'd never considered Estinien to be one.]

Well, it's not as if I don't have crushes... there's Kitsu, of course. Estinien is just... it's different. Besides that, he's older so it probably would be strange if I did have those sorts of feelings for him.
