Look here to figure out where your character starts.
Each Arena has an a description, followed by a mechanic you can use in fights. Different mechanics give different units advantages and disadvantages.
The arenas are all surrounded by a permeable opaque barrier of night, and can be left at any time by pinging the runner, and noting if you are going to the "left" or "right". It is possible to move to or from the Dead Center from any other area. If you choose to go to the Dead Center, just move your character there without pinging us. If you are leaving Dead Center, ping the runner so we can roll you a 1d12 and tell you where to go, unless you have a map of the arena at which point you may choose where you're going.
General combat mechanics are here. Please determine your stats first thing and enter your character's stats for round 2 here. If your character has purchased powers, mechanics to use them are here.
If you and another player are in agreement, you can OOCly determine the outcome of a fight, as well, but if there is disagreement it is better to roll for it.
2: "Oh, a survivalist question! Hmm, that's not really my skillset, soooo... probably a pot for cooking, um, and probably a knife or a spear or something so I can catch food. And a phone, so I can call for help, or order more things from the shop, or hold lives."
5: "Everyone being the audience, yes? Hiiii, everyone! It seems like something interesting is coming up, I hope we can all have fun. I've had a lot of kind support from fans before, so I'll be counting on you again this time. Be sure to support all your other favourites, and help them out so they can make this game as exciting as possible. Let's all do our best!"
Lance - If your character knows how to use a lance, +2 to damage output. If they do not know how to use a lance, +2 to damage output, but our agility stat is effectively lowered by -2 when rolling to use the lance. If someone attacks you at a close range, you must disarm to defend if you do not know how to use this weapon. If someone somehow finds a fucking horse, +3 damage while riding a horse.
She also receives a pot, which has no mechanical modifiers.
Axe- If your character has strength above six, add +3 to your damage score and treat your strength stat as +2 higher. If your character has strength below six, you get +2 to damage on successes but failing a roll means you take -1 HP damage from hurting yourself.
Nemesis also receives a water bottle. No mechanical effect.
Compass - If your unitmates are in the game, the compass will point the way towards them. When you use it, @ the runner and they can tell you which way to go to get to them.
X also receives an empty canteen. No mechanical effect.

IC INSTRUCTIONS DISPLAYED ON PHONES
With one~ special exception! We'll be awarding one best struggle to survive! Once you're dragged into the fray, don't give up, everyone!
Earn a win, and your whole unit gets fully healed!
Direct and passive suicide are discouraged, but~ I guess I can't stop you! Lilith will deal with that, but I don't think she'll be happy!
Oh, and killing a unitmate intentionally will disqualify you for winner.
Happy hunting, everyone!
