HEARTFORGE - WILD CITY (Session 2)

You are in the heart of a massive forge. In front of you are tools, and your objective is clear - to use them to channel the strength of your heart and create.

What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.

And you will survive.

A long time ago, there was someone who set me {memory/event1}. He {memory/event2}.

He was very {emotion3} and he never hung out with me. He only pat my head once.

Whenever I find myself {memory/event3}, I'm reminded of that time.
If only I could see you one more time...

How can a shelter be an item of offense?

[Good news! Being in a forge does a hell of a lot to soothe his underlying anxiety.]

Siege weaponry. Defense towers. Very creative shield making.

I thought siege weaponry was for handling walls, not protecting against storms.

Not generally, but there are some possibilities.

Probably need a lot of fans.

[Makes a fanning gesture with one hand]

It can effect the wind and clouds in an area which can affect the weather. Massive dragons can change weather patterns with their wings and fire breath because of the temperature.

But the weapon is probably meant to be a metaphor more then anything.

So, figuratively battling against the sky.

That makes sense.

But we could also just make something cool. It'll probably work with the right emotions and memories.

So, what do you want to make? Because I can make most any weapon.

Let's fight the sky.

Hmmm.

Then.

I think an airship would do the trick.

Do you think we can handle it with just the two of us?

Two of us means it doesn't have to be big and I am very good at what I do.

Now I never made an AIR ship, but I do know how to make boats, but I think the metaphor magic thing will make up the difference.

Alright. Let's give it a try, then.

I guess what is the thing they don't feel, and then we can figure out what the first three emotions are.

We're fighting the sky, aren't we?

So maybe they should feel no fear, or something like that.

[That is a lot less depressing.]

All right, feel no fear. So the first three....

Well, with the sky, throw me off a cliff can be one.

I could get thrown off a cliff and not feel fear.

Kill me?

Is that too dark?

I mean, you definitely don't feel fear, but you don't feel much of anything unless you're in a place like this.

Hurt me is dark, but also fair for no fear.

That's true.

Do we have our three, then?

I think the kill me and hurt me wouldn't be...specific enough with throw off the cliff.

Like....You can throw me off a cliff, and cage me, and either kill or hurt me, but I'll feel no fear.
